Double-Sided, Dual-Language Business Card Template Front (English) – Back (Japanese, Korean or Chinese) 1. Design your card directly into ONE of the following two template boxes using the English content for your card. Make sure to leave at least a 1/4" margin on each side of the card in order to ensure aesthetic results. The English side of your card will be prepared identically to your design in the box above. The Asian-language side will have identical formatting too – but with the text translated. Since we are not going to make any adjustments to the design, your card will only look as good or as bad as the design you provide us. You may freely add, delete or change information, layout, fonts and sizes, colors and graphics. There is no discount provided for simple/easy designs or black-and-white output. Only white backgrounds are permitted. If you include a photograph or other .gif/.jpg graphic on your card, be sure to use the highest resolution possible. Keep in mind that web graphics of 72dpi (dots per inch) look good on-screen but that 300dpi or higher is necessary for ideal print quality. You must e-mail us the completed template in original form. DO NOT fax or convert the template to other format before sending. SPECIAL NOTE: DO NOT write the person’s name in red letters. This indicates “death” in East Asia and is understandably very unlucky!     2. Tell us which portions of the card to translate and your delivery requirements.  Some clients prefer to leave their address and company name in English; others want to translate everything. Input the text that you want translated into the left column of Table A below and DO NOT include any text that you want us to leave in English. We do NOT translate company slogans, mottos or tag lines. Translation of your card will be performed by a professional translator in Asia. If you don’t need this service, you may also send us your own translation of the card and if you enter your translation into the right-hand column below, we will not charge a translation fee. If you provide your translation by any other method except the form below (such as fax or .pdf), we will still have to charge the FULL translation fee.  Table A Input the text from your card that you wish to have translated. Leave this column blank OR provide your own translation. If Chinese, indicate "Simplified" or "Traditional". If unsure, feel free to e-mail us for advise. Please explain any content on the card that may be unclear to the translator. For example, the most common problem encountered on business card translations is understanding the exact meaning of job positions and titles. Include any other additional instructions/questions regarding your order. How did you learn about our web site and service? Please be as detailed as possible. If you clicked on a link or banner, do you remember what site that link was on? If you found us through a search engine, what search term did you input? What suggestions do you have for making our service more useful? Date that you first visited our site: 3. After completing this template, email it to us at cards@asianlanguagedtp.com. We will review your card for design and cultural suitability and respond promptly (usually within 3-4 hours during the business day) with order confirmation and payment instructions.
