Event Information

This event will be held at the Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village, formerly known as the Amherst
museum, which has much to offer. We will have vendors, spinners, weavers, felting exhibits
and educational opportunities for children. Alpacas breeders will be available to answer
questions about raising alpacas. Live alpacas will be on the museum grounds. There will be a
Fashion show, Silent auction, games and Country store. The Fleece show will be held in
separate room on the museum grounds. David Friedman will judge all fleece classes.
The Public will be allowed to enter the museum grounds from 9am to 5 pm. There will be a
charge of $6 per Adult and $2 per child (ages 2 to 12)

Show Entry Fees

      Fleece entry fee- $45.00
      Non AOBA show member add $80.00
      Produce of Dam (2 fleeces same dam) or Get of Sire(3 fleeces same sire) class $10

   Fleeces brought to the show grounds must arrive by 4:00 pm Fri Nov. 2        2012.

   Judging will start at 8:30 am Sat. Nov 3rd. Open judging will be 2 to 3 pm. The fleece show will be
   open to public once judging is complete.

   Exhibitors can pick fleece up starting at 3 pm Sunday. The public must pay an entry fee to enter the
   show grounds. Exhibitors will be given a single pass to enter the grounds to pick up fleeces on
   Sunday. If other farm members wish view the Fleece show display, they will have to pay the
   museum entry fee to do so.

   David Friedman will judge all fleece classes.

   Show Information

      All Show related questions should be directed to the Show Superintendent, Cindy Vars at 716-
       353-2963 or email at cindy@autumnhillalpacas.com.
      There will be no refunds of any show fees paid to ABWNY. No fleece substitutions will be
       allowed from the original entry form, unless permission is obtained from the Show
       Superintendent. Permission must be obtained prior to arriving at the show. There will be a $10
       change fee for each change made to your show registration after payment has been made.
      The show will be run in accordance with the 2012 rules of the AOBA Alpaca Show Division
       Handbook. We encourage you to join the Show Division and become familiar with the
       handbook.
      All alpacas entered must be registered with the Alpaca Registry, Inc. Per 2012 AOBA Alpaca
       Show Division rules no pending papers will be accepted.
      All alpacas must be entered in the name of the owner, farm, entity as listed on the ARI
       Registration Certificate. Animals that are in the process of being purchased or certificates that
       have not been transferred must have Owner Record Form, signed by the owner that is listed on
       the certificate.
      There is a $80 AOBA fee for all farms that are not AOBA Show Division members. It is $80 per
       farm, not per fleece. There is a $6 AOBA Show Division fee for every fleece entered in the
       show, that fee is reflected in your $45.00 entry fee.
      An owner can only enter 3 alpacas per breed type, per gender, per color designation, per age
       division. Example: An owner can only show 3 white, huacaya, yearling, males.
      Please use the most current ARI Color Chart and color rules in the AOBA Show Division
       Handbook to determine the color of each fleece.
      An alpaca fleece will not be entered if there is incomplete or missing information.
   
