  Theme: The Fashion Designers




Objective:        By the end of the lesson the students will be able to improve their
                  vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking skills, practice on making
                  up dialogues and act out.
Visual aids:      posters, markers, handouts, PC, overhead projector
Organization moment:
1. Greeting.

3. Presentation: Dear students as you supposed today our lesson will be
                  consolidation lesson about the unit “The Fashion Designers”.
                  Today we have some activities for brushing up and revise our
                  knowledge on this theme and these activities we’ll do in groups.
                  So now we have to divide into two groups. And now let’s begin
                  our first activity. In your groups you have to discuss “The
                  advantages and disadvantages of wearing casual clothes and dress
                  up”. Time for discussion: 3 min. After that the students begin
                  to share their ideas and I will copy their opinions on the poster.

4. Practice:     And now look at the screen and you’ll see the words connecting to
                 the world of fashion, your task is to make up a dialogue using as
                 much as possible these words and act it out.
                 Words for dialogue: sneakers, 5000 sum, trousers, suit (v), cost,
                 price, jeans, a present, fabric, size, need, show, shoes, Italy, big.
5. Production:   Crossword: “The World of Fashion”. Now I’ll give you handouts
                 of the crossword and you have to solve it, will see which group is
                 the first and more correct. After solving the crossword each group
                 will check opposite groups work and mark themselves. The next
                 and the last activity is “Match the words”. Each group has to
                 select a representative from their group and the representatives
                 have to come next to the screen and match the words they will be
                 given.


6. Evaluation:   And now let’s do an evaluation for the lesson. Tell me please
                 what about we learnt, spoke and discussed during this unit?


7. Homework:     Your homework is to find more information about Uzbek
