     Junior High and Grade School State Championships
                      Training Camp
        District State Qualifier is Febuary 19th, State championships are March 10th and 11th


Where:           Ohio State wrestling room (1160 Steelwood rd.)
When:            Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Time:            6:15 to 7:45
Dates:           Feb 6,7,8,9,13,14,15,16,20,21,22,23,27,28
                 March 1,2,6,7,8,9
Cost:            $150 per wrestler (no discounts)
                 (20 practices….comes out to be$7.50 a practice)

All wrestlers will receive a Central Ohio All-Star junior high/grade school state
singlet and t-shirt. (singlet will cost us $60 a singlet, we will pay for it and the t-
shirt) The singlet will look just like the Ohio State University singlet. A USA
wrestling card is required to participate in this training camp for insurance
reasons. We will have USA cards at registration.
                                        COACHES
Jim Edwards- NCAA All-American and Captain from LSU, Ohio High School
State champ. Long time Ohio high school coach. Jim has molded many state
champions such as NCAA All-American Ross Thatcher and NCAA CHAMPION
and UNIVERSITY WORLD CHAMPION Tommy Rowlands. Jim is recognized
as one of the great coaches in all of Ohio.
Ross Thatcher- NCAA All-American from Penn State, 2 time Ohio State Champ.
Penn State Assistant coach for three years. Assistant coach for Ohio Regional
Olympic training center. Assistant coach and Program Director of recruiting and
conditioning for the Ohio State Wrestling team.


                            PRE –REGISTRATION Dates
                        January 16, 18, 23, 25…………from 6:00 to 6:45.

If you pre-register for this training camp….you can participate in the
rest of our winter session. The winter session will continue till Feb 1st.
Winter session practice times and dates are… Sunday 4:00 to 5:30,
Monday and Tuesday 6:30 to 8:00 in the Ohio State wrestling room.
We need all Junior high and grade school state training camp
wrestlers to pre-register, we need to get your sizes for the singlets.
Last year we cut off registration at 50 wrestlers and turned away
wrestlers after that. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!!!!!!!
