VICTIM ADVOCATE OF THE YEAR
A Victim Advocate is defined as an individual who works on behalf of crime
victims as a victim advocate in a district attorney’s office, juvenile
probation department, or in a community-based agency.
NOMINATION CRITERIA
1. Nominee must be employed as a Victim Advocate at the time the nomination
is submitted. (Date of submission is defined as the date of the
nomination letter's postmark.)
2. Nominations must be postmarked no later than April 27, 2012.
3. Nominations must be typed in ARIAL font size 12pt.
4. Nominations must be signed by the chief juvenile probation officer and
judge.
5. Winners from previous years may not be re-nominated in the same award
category.
6. Nominations must be written so the nominee's identity cannot be
discerned by reading the narrative. The name and county of the nominee
should only be written on the cover page.
7. Nominations may only be withdrawn by the judge who signed the nomination
form.
8. Nominations must be submitted on this nomination form, using only the
space provided. (3 PAGE TOTAL SINGLE SIDED) Attachments will be
discarded.
PLEASE NOTE: Nominations which do not meet all criteria will be rejected
from the judging process.
