Walk-a-thon (Fund Raiser)
September 28 – Homecoming at        PTO Fund Raiser – Our PBO fund raiser, for the 6th consecutive year, will once
Slinger HS – Go Owls!!              again be a walk-a-thon, instead of the traditional pizza, candy, candles format. The
                                    date for this year’s event is next Friday, September 28th (rain or shine – no rain

October 22 - School Board Mtg @     Fund Raising – It’s our intent to conduct one major fundraiser for the school year,
7:00 PM – District Office           through our PBO. There are, however, a number of other ways for you to raise
                                    money for Addison Elementary. Our school will be participating in these programs
October 25 & 26 – No School –       for the coming year: SCRIP, Market Day, Campbell’s Soup Labels, BoxTops for
Fall Break                          Education, We Care/Pick ‘n Save, Target, and Kemps milk caps (please note: the
Oct 29- Nov 2 – State Testing       Kemps program will end on November 1st and be replaced with a new program in
(WKCE) for Gr. 3 & 5                2013). A full listing and description of each of these programs is included with
                                    today’s bulletin.
November 1 - Picture Re-take Day
@ 9:30 AM & 12:30 PM – Stage        October 3rd Delayed Start – Just a reminder that Wednesday, October 3rd is a two
                                    hour late start for all students. The doors to the building will open at 10:30 AM and

                                    100 guests to our building to talk to our students about various careers and hobbies.
November 7 – PBO Meeting @          It is truly one of the events of the school year and only takes place on an every other
