Job Title:                        Administration Assistant

Responsible to:                   Regional Manager

Job purpose:                      The post holder provides a comprehensive
                                  administrative and secretarial support
                                  function to the Regional Manager


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Provide effective secretarial support e.g. dealing with telephone enquiries,
   maintaining regional managers diary in outlook, photocopying, routine
   correspondence, taking messages, arranging meetings and appointments
   as and when required by the Regional Manager.

2. To produce word-processed correspondence and reports.

3. To establish and maintain comprehensive and efficient office systems.

4. To undertake any other task, consistent with the scope of the post as
   requested by the Regional Manager.

5. To ensure that invoices are processed on a daily basis, ensuring that
   cross checking procedures followed, cheques raised, authorised and
   distributed accordingly.

6. Bring to the attention of individual staff and Regional Manager anomalies
   relating to the above.

7. To provide cover for the Secretary/Administrator to Regional Manager in
   their absence.

8. To undertake any other task consistent with the scope of the post as
   requested by the Regional Manager.

9. To adhere to corporate policies and procedures e.g. health and safety,
   equal opportunities, code of conduct etc.

10. To carry out any other duties as required by the ‘regional Manager.
