                       Office & Volunteers Coordinator (Unpaid)

Position Description

The Black Professionals Association Charitable Foundation is seeking an Office &
Volunteers Coordinator (unpaid) to assist the Executive Director in managing minor day
to day functions of the main office. The ideal candidate will be friendly, detail-oriented,
and computer savvy. Expenses associated with the position will be reimbursed.


Responsibilities will include:


Answer phones, take detailed messages and check general email.

Assist with maintaining the office and preparing for meetings.

File important documents according to office policies/procedures.

Keep the Executive Director informed of special requests from Board Members,
Volunteers and Community Leaders.

Help manage BPACF volunteers by planning, coaching, and providing feedback;
monitoring, and appraising work results.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Skills/Qualifications:
   Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Software Programs
   Knowledge of Internet Search Engines
   Excellent Communication Skills
   Experience with fiscal management a plus. (accounts payable, accounts receivable,
    tracking expenses, etc.)
