JOB DESCRIPTION

POST:                      Home Angels Supervisor

RESPONSIBLE TO:            Trust Enterprises Business Development
                           Manager

POST LOCATION:             AS REQUIRED


PURPOSE OF JOB:

To supervise Home Assistants in the post-holder’s defined area and promote
and develop the service.

To ensure that customers’ services are met in accordance with requirements
and service levels.


MAIN DUTIES:

1.   Supervise the local Home Assistants.

2.   Create rotas to ensure all contracted tasks are efficiently managed.

3.   To treat all customers with dignity and respect and maintain strict
     confidentiality.

4.   Collate and verify Home Assistants’ timesheets and expenses.

5.   Ensure timesheets and expense claims are passed to Head Office in a
     timely fashion to ensure there is no delay in Home Assistants’ pay.

6.   Monitor holidays and absence, ensuring that service levels are
     maintained during planned absence.

7.   Ensure that quality and service levels are maintained and exceeded,
     responding in a timely manner to all customer enquiries.
8.    Communicate with Home Assistants, keeping them up to date on Home
      Angels initiatives, products and services.

9.    Advertise, promote and develop the service locally and develop a local
      marketing plan.

10.   Sign up new customers to agreed targets.

11.   Support and train Home Assistants, ensuring that tasks are carried out
      effectively and safely.

12.   Undertake any training appropriate to the role.

13.   Be responsible for working within the time limits for the role and
      managing your own time.

14.   Be responsible for communicating with Line Manager on matters relating
      to the role.

15.   Adhere to all policies and procedures of Trust Enterprises Ltd.

16.   Undertake any other relevant duties as are considered appropriate to
      the post.


REPORTING ARRANGEMENTS:

The post-holder reports to the Trust Enterprises Business Development
Manager. The post-holder is responsible for informing Head Office of any
changes to customer requirements and new requests.

Essential Criteria


   Be organised and efficient

   Have enthusiasm and a flexible, ‘can-do’ attitude

   Enjoy working in a customer service orientated environment

   Have an interest in working with a varied customer base within the
    community

   Be confident in supervising a team

   Have the ability to work well using your own initiative and also being
    part of a team

   Be flexible in meeting the needs of customers

   A clean driving licence and access to a car.

Desirable Criteria


   Previous experience undertaking similar duties

   Be flexible to cover colleagues during periods of absence.
