EXPERIENCE

Finance Industrial Engineer, DFB Pharmaceuticals/DPT Laboratories, Lakewood, NJ; (2007- current)
        Function as a bridge between Finance and Operations in order to facilitate an enhanced bidirectional flow of information, drive
         improvement, and increase profitability.
        Responsible for developing all cost estimates for potential future business and for proposed changes to current manufacturing processes
         and/or packaging specifications.
        Work with Business Development Managers initiating RFQ/RFE’s to aid in communicating engineering options, solutions, and the
         related cost ramifications to customers.
        Create and maintain all standard costs, rates, and labor routings; audit routings as new products are brought to commercialization;
         investigate causes of deviations from estimate and variances from standards; correct/adjust as required.
        Responsible for database design, report creation, and satisfying data mining needs pertaining to operational performance and labor
         costs; monitor and report on cost absorption, labor efficiencies, labor utilization, and throughput.; create data analysis applications for
         Production Department; implement and maintain information systems in order to provide more timely and accurate management data.
        Improve efficiency of lines through time studies and investigation of downtime causes; analyze line layout and recommend changes;
         collect & analyze throughput data in order to create operational goals for cost savings projects; identify areas of high opportunity for
         cost reduction/improvement and perform line studies to determine causes of poor throughput and potential solutions.
        Function as site team leader for corporate-wide launch of new labor management/collection system; write VBA modules to convert all
         current routings to new LMS compatible format; test LMS functionality in test server environment ; create training documents and train
         employees how to use LMS; and provide system support after project launch.
        Hold position of “IT Liaison” for Manufacturing/Process Department; hold training classes on software systems, tools, and applications
         used by the department; and communicate department needs and issues to IT.

Industrial Engineer II, Oki Data, Inc., Mt. Laurel, NJ; (2004- 2007)
        Responsible for generation and revision of product manufacturing procedures that meet ISO9001 requirements for: rework, packaging,
         material review board issues, returned goods, kits and accessories
        Support East and West Coast production activities through line balancing, time studies, work methods improvements, new
         product/rework process demonstrations, and capital equipment selection
        Responsible for implementing Corporate Management’s Mudadori Program using lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies

        Responsible for evaluating and reviewing production efficiency and updating production rates as necessary
        Attend new product launch team meetings and act as project manager for industrial engineering and packaging activities for the
         program
        Support operations management by providing estimates for production manpower requirements and costs for budgetary purposes
        Create and maintain production routings, production output rates, and material master data in SAP
