Z-08-2005: 11500 79th Street (Shukis) Rezoning, Text Amendment, PUD, and Findings of Fact – Amended Petition - Continued from May 16, 2005 The petitioner requests an amendment to Section VI.F.3.b(6) of the Burr Ridge Zoning Ordinance to reduce the minimum area for an R-3 Planned Unit Development from 40 acres to 25 acres; rezoning of a property consisting of approximately 25 acres from the R-1 Single- Family Residence District and the R-2A Single-Family Residence District to the R-3 Single- Family Residence District; requests Special Use Approval per Section VI.F.2.h of the Burr Ridge Zoning Ordinance to designate the property as a Planned Unit Development; and to approve preliminary plans for a residential development with common area between units and private streets. The petitioner amended this petition to delete approximately 16 acres located adjacent to Creekwood Drive and to request the text amendment reducing the minimum area of an R-3 PUD. B. Z-11-2005: 8320 Madison Street (Giant Steps); Special Use and Findings of Fact The petitioner requests Special Use approval to allow Giant Steps Illinois, Inc. to continue and expand its operation of a school, workshop, and training center for developmentally disabled persons.
