                Stories behind Pedagogical Documentation:
                   Explanations, reflections and insights
Some of you may have had the opportunity to view the Pedagogical documentation panels displayed in
the St Cuthbert’s hall at our 100 Languages of Children conference last year. These series of
documentation panels were produced by REANZ in collaboration with 5 centres. Our intention was to
showcase some of the insightful practices and documentation of children's learning that is occurring right
here in Aotearoa!

Come and see these panels for yourself and also hear from the teachers ‘behind’ them – their stories,
insights, explanations and reflections of the learning, and the documentation process. Listen to the
teachers unpack and discuss the learning and teaching that made the production of these magnificent
panels possible.

The panel stories will be presented and explained over FOUR separate evenings/events (1-2
presentations each event/evening) and have been tailored to also allow for discussion and dialogue so
that participants may ask questions of the teachers, and think about how they may reconsider
opportunities for learning and documentation in their own context.
Overall, the documentation panels include examples of infant/toddlers, and young children.

Evening 4 - Tuesday 29th May 2012

6.00-9.00pm (a light supper will be provided from 6.00-6.30pm)
