Clientel
This Powder Puff Tournament is aimed at Ithaca College
students from the school of Health Sciences and Human
Performance. While the participants are females who enjoy
football and playing sports, we hope to also attract males that will
act as referees, coaches, and cheerleaders.
This event is for students of all HSHP disciplines and we
hope that it will bring together Physical Therapy, Occupational
Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Therapeutic Recreation,
Athletic Training, Recreation Management, and all other academic
programs from the HSHP department.
Furthermore, any Ithaca student, regardless of their gender
and major, can enjoy the action and try to win prizes as the best
cheerleader!
Facilities
The tournament will occur outdoors at Ithaca College on the
football practice fields. We will measure every ten yards and have
markers set up to define the boundaries, end zones, etc. There will
be a speaker, sound system, and microphone provided by the
Ithaca College intramurals.
There is a parking lot located next to the field and it should be
accessible to everyone. There are also port-a-potties in case people
have bathroom needs.
Since it is an outdoor event we have already scheduled a rain date
for the next Sunday if required.

(each zone is 20 yards long)
-there are four 20 yard zones
-if a team fails to score or advance past the first down marker in four downs they
will lose possession of the ball
-after the team passes into the next zone, that team will receive a new set of four
downs
-a team may choose to punt at any fourth down
-prior to the fourth down, the referee will ask the offensive team captain if they
want to punt, this decision will be announced for the other team to hear
-after receiving the snap, the kicker must punt the ball immediately in a

-rusher must count to 5 in a slow manor loud enough for the ref to hear
-only after reaching 5 seconds, the rusher can choose to cross the line of
scrimmage
