                                         Chapter one: Introduction

      FPD serves as one of core industries in Electronics & Information Industry, and plays an

important role on advancing economic transformation, promoting industrial structure upgrade,
driving high technology development in China. In the meantime, Chinese Government has
given much support to it now, which has been listed as one of the most important projects on
“National the 11th Five Year Planning” by Ministry of Information Industry.
    Moreover, Shenzhen got a long history for FPD Industry development, and has a good
environment for its development.         In Shenzhen, there has been gathering many FPD
corporations, a matured chain is formed, International communication & cooperation occurred
frequently, so Shenzhen has been regarded as one of good cities for FPD development.
    In order to carry out completely “the Framework Agreement of Strategic Cooperation on
promoting National Information Industry in Independent Innovation Model City” signed by
Ministry of Information Industry, PRC, People’s Government of Guangdong Province and
Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, and fully exert the function of Shenzhen FPD
Industry’s convergence, expedite the speed of building National Information Industry in
Independent Innovation Model City, and form a health development environment of National
FPD Industry in our country. 2010 CODE—China Optoelectronics & Display Expo will be
grandly held on May 8th -10th, 2010 in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, which
co-organized by Ministry of Information Industry, Dept. of Electronic and IT Products, PRC, and
Shenzhen Bureau of Science Technology & Information.
With the main topic of “Wonderful Vision, Nice Future”, The Show is fully included FPD Display,
LED Display, and Laser Display, together with related industrial chain companies, which will be
also concurrently held with many activities, such as: 2008 CODE Special Forums & Cathedra,
2010 CODE Awards, thus providing a high-qualified platform for industrial people
communication. The Organizers are welcoming all industrial companies, research institutions,
associations, and consumers to attend 2010CODE—China Optoelectronics & Display Expo.

Chapter Two Application for Participation and Invitations to

Overseas Merchants

1. Conditions and Qualifications of Exhibitors
1.1 Company Business license is required.
1.2 The exhibiting products are accord with 2010CODE & CTVF exhibiting area.
1.3 Stand by CODE & CTVF 2010 management rules.

2. CODE Application Procedure and Methods
2.1 Units wishing to exhibit may directly apply at the Show Organizer (Yawei Convention & Exhibition
Co., Ltd).

2.2 The applying units will be informed in writing when their qualifications to participate are confirmed

   by the Organizer.
2.3 Signing Contract, The deadline for sign-up will be April 15th.
2.4 50 % payment of the total participation fee should be made upon the submission of application
     form. The balance of the exhibit space rental fee should be paid no later than Apr. 18th, 2010
2.5 The organizer will providing ‘ Exhibitor Manual ‘ while receiving the deposit from exhibitors.
2.6 The organizer keep the right to refuse any company to exhibit in CODE for the purpose of
     maintain good image of CODE, and keep the final right to adjust booth.
3. Basis of Distribution of Booths
Booths will be arranged in corresponding areas based on corporate size, product information
and the time of enrollment.
4. Booth Size
     4.1 Shell scheme booths:
     Size: 3 x 3 m2
     Facilities: booth name board, booth rack, two lamps, carpet, two chairs, one table, one
220V power outlet.
     4.2 Raw space:
     at minimum 36 square meters

5. Explanations on the Application of Show-Directory
5.1 Application of Show-Directory
1. The “Show Directory Information Form” is a special form on which exhibitors have to describe their

projects for exhibition. The contents will be published in the CODE Show Directory. Units that want to
participate in the CODE are requested to fill it in and submit it to the Department of Planning of the
Transfer Center before April 15, 2010. No late submit will be accepted.
2. Each project must be described on a separate form (please download from
www.chinaFPD.net/CODE) . The brief introduction to each project (exhibits, investment intention)
should be completed in both Chinese and English, within 220 Chinese words. The English version
shall be a corresponding translation of the Chinese version within 800 words. Exceeding part of the
introduction will be omitted and not included in the Directory.
5.2 Distribution and Advertisement Collection of Show Directory
Show-Directory will be mostly free distribution on the exhibition, which is very effective way to
promote company in the market, the Organizer will keep some space for Show-Directory
advertisement(full color, full page), if company required, please contact us.




Chapter Three Participating in the Exhibition
1. Entry and Exit Time
        1.1. Entrance
    8:30. Entry into the hall open to certificate holders including exhibitors
    9:00. Entry into the hall open to visitors with tickets
        1.2. Exit
    16:30. Entry into the hall closed to visitors.
    17:00. Exhibition site closed and all people should leave the hall.
  2.      Exhibit and Data Entrance & Exit Management
    All the exhibits brought into the hall will be inspected for safety by gate guards. Before the
fair ends, exhibits may be taken into the hall but may not be taken out of the hall. If exhibitor
requests to send exhibits out of the exhibition hall during the fair, the “Goods Removal Pass”
issued by the hosts should be prepared (released by the in-site office) and the article(s) will not
be released until it is signed by a person in charge of the site of the Transfer Center.


3. Booth Management
         1. Unauthorized transfer or sublease (resale) of a booth is strictly prohibited. If the
actual occupier of booth is not the exhibitor in the application, this is regarded as an
unauthorized transfer or sublease (resale) of a booth. It includes the following cases:
         1.1 Transfer of a booth to an associate in the name of a joint operation;

        1.2 Transfer of a booth to its supplier, collaborator or affiliate in the name of supply or

            collaboration (including affiliation);

        1.3 Transfer (lending) of a booth to others as a borrowing;

        1.4 Exchange of a booth without permission;

        1.5 Supplier, associate or collaborator charges high for the booth or exhibition fee;

        1.6 Unauthorized transfer or sublease (resale) of booth in any other ways.



    2. An unmanned booth is not allowed during the exhibition. One responsible person

        shall be designated to each allocated booth.
          2.1 The responsible person of the booth must be a formal employee of the exhibitor.
        This position can be taken by a salesman. The responsible person of the booth must
        stay at the booth, may not leave the exhibition hall without notice during working hours,
        and has the obligation to report the utilization of the booth to inspectors.
          2.2 Each responsible person is to be in charge of only one booth.

    3. Exhibitors shall not engage in any sales activity during the fair.

    4. Exhibits may not be removed from the exhibition tables or site after the exhibition

        formally begins, and exhibits and exhibition tables may not be dismantled before

        the exhibition comes to end unless approval is obtained from the hosts.

         v. Offenders shall be

          4.1 Criticized in a circular.

          4.2 Punished by confiscating proceeds from unauthorized transfer or sublease (resale)

              of booth.

          4.3 And disqualified for exhibition in case of serious violation.

   5. Anyone who exposes or reports the unauthorized transfer or sublease (resale) of a

        booth will be protected and rewarded.



4. Exhibit and Publicity Material Management
         i. Exhibits and Publicity Materials

Any of the following types of exhibits are deemed as violation and prohibited from being in the

exhibition. The exhibitor concerned shall assume all consequences arising thereof.

         1 . Exhibits without the required exhibition agreements.

         2. Exhibits without a definite source or ownership.

         3. Exhibits such as Flammability,explosive, virulent,cautery and radioactivity

         4. Other exhibits incompliant with rules.

         ii. Exhibit Management

    1.         Any technology or product undeclared or unexamined by the Organization

               Committee shall not be on exhibition. Otherwise, the hosts shall reserve the right to

               dispose of the technology or product.

    2.         Contents or such words as “Taiwan separation”, “ROC” or “Republic of China” and

               Falun Gong shall be prohibited in the exhibition and publicity.

    3.          In-site sales of exhibits shall be prohibited during the fair.

    4.         Exhibits may only be placed within their own booth. They are not allowed to be

               placed on the passages or occupy space on the passages. Should exhibits be

               placed in the passages and/or damage or block the fire control passages, the

               exhibitor will bear responsibility for all the consequences that occur.

    5.          Any exhibitor and group shall abide by related regulations on intellectual property

               protection, ensure its technology and product on exhibition will not pose

               infringement, and take necessary measures to protect its own intellectual property.

           iii. Publicity Material Management
          1.      Various materials brought to the fair by the exhibitor are allowed to be distributed
                  only at the booth, not at others’ booths or on the passage. Publicity articles or
                  materials may not be placed in the passage.
          2.      Contents and words of various materials distributed must conform to related
                  state regulations. Exhibitors shall be fully responsible for the authenticity and
                  validity of various materials.
          3.      Do not distribute publicity materials or articles for others. All disputes thus arising
                  must be born by those who distribute the materials or articles.

5. Safety Management for Participation in the Exhibition
          1. The organizer shall endeavor to guarantee the safety of booth tables and exhibits, but
shall not bear any responsibilities for accidental personal injury, loss or damage of exhibits
during the fair. Exhibitors should pay attention to the safety and security of the exhibits on their
own booth table.
          2. Each exhibitor should appoint person(s) in charge of safety and security, adopt safety
measures, enhance the safety education and management, and improve the consciousness for
ensuring safety and preventing dangers.
          3. All the participants shall voluntarily observe all the regulations and stipulations of the
CODE and jointly maintain good order during the CODE, shall not participate in the Falun Gong
organization or other illegal activities, and shall be vigilant to prevent accidents.


         4. From the move-in day, all persons entering the exhibition hall must wear the necessary
certificates, obey the security guards and assist the in their safety check. It is not permitted to
transfer the certificates to others or to take persons who do not have necessary certificates into
the exhibition halls. Punishment shall be applied to the violators.
    5. Exhibits shall be placed according to related regulations, and shall not be placed outside
of the booth scope. It is strictly prohibited to display or sell goods in any places other than
specified. It is necessary to obey related persons of the Organizer in check and corrections.
    6. Great emphasis is to be placed on fire prevention. All the exhibitors shall strictly execute
the Electrical Safety Regulations and Fire Safety Management Regulations instruct their
employees about safety and fire prevention, and ensure everybody understanding that he/she
has responsibility for fire prevention. The person in charge of the exhibit shall be the primary
person responsible for fire control of the exhibit area (booth). All the participants shall increase
their awareness of safety and danger prevention, and shall report to the working personnel and
security guards on the site if they find unseen dangers, to immediately eliminate them and
ensure the safety of the CODE.
         7. The exhibitors should voluntarily take good care of the fire protection equipment and
facilities in the exhibition halls to ensure the satisfactory condition and normal operation of these
facilities. Objects must not be placed in a scope of 1 meters in front of fire hydrants and
extinguishers, and it is strictly prohibited to obstruct, occupy and damage fire equipment or use
it for other purposes. No roofing of any form may be placed over any booths or decorations in

order to ensure normal operations of fire alarm system and automatic sprinkling system.
      8. Before the daily closing of the CODE, exhibitors shall actively assist the security guards
to clean the site, remove flammable waste materials, fire kindling and other potential dangers,
disconnect the power supply to the booth, secure valuable objects and shut the doors and
windows.
      9. The exhibitor should take good care of your property (Bag, Notebook, Camera, Mobile,
etc) while exhibiting, it’s better to dispatch a person to guard all property when many people
negotiating on your booth.
      10. Before the daily closing of the CODE, Please keep all costly exhibits in cabinet, safety
box or other effective measurement, and check the amount.


 6.          Cleaning the Booth
      During the move-in and move-out, the organizer shall be responsible for the cleaning of
shell scheme booths and the public areas, while the exhibitors shall be responsible for the
cleaning of raw space booths. During the fair, exhibitors should keep their booth table clean; the
in-site cleaning workers shall be mainly responsible for clearing garbage and for the cleaning
work in the public area of the exhibition hall. Cleaning workers can provide compensated
cleaning services according to the area of booths. During the move-out, the exhibitors must
move all the garbage in the exhibition area (booth) out of the exhibition hall and transport it to
the appointed place before obtaining their cleaning deposit at the service counter.
7.            Insurance Responsibilities and Risks
         i. Exhibitors must bear all the related compensation costs for accidents occurring in their
exhibition areas to visitors (and their possessions) who come to participate in transaction or
exchanges and exempt the hosts from any responsibilities.
         ii. Exhibitors must secure their own exhibits or other valuable articles to prevent any
losses arising from theft, loss, fire, etc. Exhibitors should also carry accident insurance and third
party liability insurance for their working staff and visitors in their own booth, and sign and
deliver to the organizer the “Construction Entrustment and Fire Control Safety Responsibility
Statement”.


8.            Regulations on the Noise Control
      i. Sound volume transmitted from booths must not cause a disturbance to the visitors or

neighboring exhibitors.
    ii. The sound volume produced by audio or video equipment shall be below 50dB.
    iii. The site management authority has right to take compulsory measures to punish an
exhibitor who violates these regulations and does not accept the requests of management.
9.          Punishment for Fake and Poor Quality Products and Indiscriminate
            Sales
     To safeguard the interests of exhibitors and visitors and uphold the image of CODE, fake
and poor quality products and indiscriminate sales are strictly forbidden at the Fair (Identification
of fake and poor quality drugs is based on relevant provisions in the Drug Control Law of the
People’s Republic of China):
     i. Upon discovery of an inconsistency between what is exhibited and what is declared, the
exhibitor will be expelled from the site and the exhibit will be confiscated. The incident will be
recorded for reference in the appraisal of participation qualifications in future Fairs.
     ii. The exhibitor and/or unit who sell fake or poor quality products will bear all the
responsibilities for all the consequences that occur.


10.         Instructions to Overseas Exhibitors
     i. Governmental Laws and Regulations
The exhibitors shall obey and observe all the related laws and regulations of the region holding
the CODE.
     ii. Application for Visa
     1. The exhibitors shall ensure that they comply with all the requirements of China for visa
          and personal health. If there are any doubts, please consult the relevant service
          agencies. The Transfer Center can provide some assistance, but does not apply for
          visas on behalf of the exhibitors.
     2. The contract may not be cancelled because the exhibitors fail to obtain the required
          visa.
     iii. Customs Regulations
     The exhibition hall is under the jurisdiction of Customs and all the objects placed within it
are exempted from tax during the fair. But none of the objects may be taken out of the exhibition
hall without the approval of Customs. Exhibitors should observe the following instructions:
     1. Please contact the freight forwarder designated by the fair for customs clearance of the
     exhibits.
     2. All the promotion materials that will be distributed during this fair, including printed
     matter, business cards, documents and gifts, shall be delivered in advance to Customs and
     the Transfer Center for examination. Otherwise they will not be admitted to the exhibition
     site.
     3. Small gifts can be distributed during the fair provided that import duty is charged.
          Before distributing these gifts, the exhibitors shall authorize the forwarders designated
          by the fair to deliver the list of articles, quantity and price to Customs.

    4.  All the handheld articles that are carried into China, shall be declared via the
       forwarders designated by the fair to Customs and shall be approved by Customs before
       they are carried into or out of the Exhibition Hall.
    5. Please keep all the receipts issued by Customs in a safe place, so that the forwarders
       designated by the fair can retrieve the articles from Customs.
    6. After the fair, exhibit sales shall be governed by the related regulations of China.

2. Booth types
There are two types of booths, shell scheme booths and raw space booth.
A shell scheme booth is a booth that is built using the designated materials and layout specified
by the CODE.
A raw space booth is a booth that is specially built in a complicated decorative form on the
reserved clear and open land, using materials and models other than those specified for a shell
scheme booth.
3. Move-in Construction Management
    i. Check and Approval on the Construction Unit

    The exhibitors have the right to appoint a contractor who conforms to the following

requirements to design and build their booth. The CODE only permits a contractor who has

been reviewed and approved by related authorities

    1. The construction contractor must be an enterprise with legal operation qualification, and must

    be qualified to engage in the construction of exhibition projects.

    2. The contractor shall have a technically professional team, and have a stable work for that

    engage in the business of exhibition projects. The applicant must have enough manpower and

    materials to complete the move-in and move-out work

    3. The contractor shall be familiar and comply with the regulations on move-in, move-out and

     construction management and shall voluntarily obey the management of the CODE Organizer’s

     field staff.

      ii. Review for Raw Space Booths
 Those exhibitors who need to construct raw space booths shall report the record materials,
 such as those raw space booth drawings, to the official constructor before April 30. Exhibitors’
 materials shall be submitted to the contractor designated by CODE Organizer. The move-in can
 be allowed and the construction commenced only after all the related drawings for specially
 decorated booths are put on records by the hosts. Only after all specially-decorated drawings
 have been checked and approved by the Fair-appointed contractor, the exhibitor-appointed
 construction contractor may directly go through related procedures on site for construction
 during the period of move-in. If the drawings do not comply with the related requirements,
 exhibitors must take corrections as required by the Fair-appointed contractor and report the
 record materials again before April 30th. The Fair-appointed contractor shall review the
 corrected drawings again.

1. Basic Requirements

    (1)The exhibitors with a raw space booth, without due authorization, shall not change or

modify any of the submitted documents that have been reviewed and approved for record. If any

of such documents must be changed, such change shall be submitted again to the Transfer

Center before May 10. In the event of changes to such documents without prior authorization,

the CODE has the right to stop the supply of electric power to the booth and give penalty;

    (2)In the design and construction of the specially decorated booth of an exhibitor, the

vertical projections shall not extend outside of the area of the reserved clear space. If the booth

design has a negative influence on the booths of other exhibitors, the Trading Center reserves

the right to request such exhibitor to change the booth design;

    (3)The exhibitors, with a raw space booth, shall be responsible for decorations on the

carpet at their own booths, and the carpets and floor decorations can not be fixed by using

double-sided tape.

    (4)During construction, the construction contractor shall place his construction permit in a

prominent position in the booth.

    (5)Construction must be carried out strictly as per the drawings and shall not extend

outside of the scope specified on the construction permit. The Trading Center field staff has the

right to supervise and check the booth construction at any time;

    (6)The maintenance of raw space booths is the responsibility of the booth construction

contractor and is supervised by the exhibitor that uses this booth.

    (7)Large exhibit with volume of more than 2m3 shall be transported to the booth at the first

date of move-in time.

    (8)The exhibitors to which the booths standing against the walls shall enter the site for

move-in as early as possible. During the move-in, the construction height within 7 m height limit

range including the floor. Construction out of this limits must be approved by Exhibition &

Convention center.

    (9)The columns in exhibition center are used for power distribution and fire prevention,

and its size is L×W×H =2.5 m×2.5m×11.45m. If a column is in a booth area, it must not be

enclosed completely during move-in and at least 1m space must be provided around the

columns, and at least one movable door should be provided on the side with hydrant.

    (10)Neighboring delegations should adjust the move-in and move-out height according to

the booth distribution chart themselves.

    (11)All the texts on the booth board of the shell scheme booth (name of the participant

unit) should be checked and approved by the Organizer and the booth name board should be

made uniformly by the Appointed Contractor. Without the prior approval of the Organizer, any

exhibitors cannot change them by themselves. Exhibitors may contact the Exhibition Center at

the Service Desk during the preparation.

    (12)From the move-in date on, all the persons entering the exhibition hall shall wear

related passes, and obey and support security guards during check. It is prohibited to transfer

the passes to others or take the persons not wearing necessary passes into the exhibition hall.

The persons violating the aforesaid regulation shall be punished.

         (13)It is strictly prohibited to post any objects on the aisle columns in the exhibition halls

using double-sided or single-sided tapes or other gluing materials. Never drill, apply paints or

glues, or place objects or color on wall surfaces and floors. It is strictly prohibited to saw or cut

off the exhibition materials in the exhibition halls or paint, drive nails or make openings on the

exhibition materials. Do not cause damage to any facilities in the exhibition halls. Violator shall

pay a fine equal to 2~5 times the price of the damaged equipment.

         (14) Do not drive nails into the ceiling of the exhibition halls, or suspend display brackets,

lamp enclosures and any kind of decoration from the pipelines on the ceilings.

         (15) All the water resources should be booked at the Exhibition Center.

         (16) The work time of the Exhibition Center is from 08:30 am to 17:30 pm. All the

exhibitors who need overtime work, must apply at the Service Desk before 13:00 of the day and

pay the overtime work fee at the same time.

2. Fire Safety Management
(1) All the booths’ construction inside the exhibition hall should abide by “Exhibition Fire Safety
Management Regulation”.(Hand out to all exhibitors before exhibition)
(2) Exhibitors should responsible for its own booth’s safety. On field regular inspection, exhibition
safety guards have the right to see the construction contractor’s effective safety certificate
documents like qualified design company’s official sealed design files ( effect & structure drawings,
license copy, etc) or ask them to provide fire fighting measure drawings and weight bearing
instruction if necessary, the contractor should hand over the “ Entrusting construction & Fire
Safety Responsibility Pledge” before move-in.
(3) The display stands or frames must not cover or hide the fire protection equipment, electrical
equipment, emergency exits and visitor aisles. No booths can be built under the fireproof rolling
doors in the exhibition halls.
(4) During the move-in and move-out, decoration materials must not be stored on doorways or aisles
in the exhibition halls, in order to prevent blockage of fire passages.
(5) No smoking in the exhibition halls except for some designated area; noncompliance behavior will
be stopped or warned. For severe violators the organizer reserves the right to ask them to leave or
submit to fire safety division of Police Department.
(6) Exhibit packaging boxes, paper scraps and other litters used during move-in must be removed
from the exhibition halls before the opening of CODE, and it is strictly prohibited to store them in the
booths, on locker top or behind booth wall plates. The violators shall be handled seriously according
to related regulations.
(7) Sufficient heat radiation holes shall be provided, and the ballast for fluorescent lamps shall be
separated from the lamp housing. Flame escape openings shall be provided inside lamp enclosures
made of flammable materials.
(8) It is strictly prohibited to store, use or exhibit flammable, explosive, radioactive or toxic materials
in the exhibition halls. Working with an open flame is strictly prohibited at the construction site.
(9) All decoration materials should have non-combustible or combustion-retardant feature. Grass,
bamboo, vine, paper, bark, foamed plastics, reed, flammable plastic boards, flammable carpets,
cloths, and wood plates shall not be used as decoration materials within the exhibition halls if they
are not treated with combustion-retardant techniques. For those who need to obtain semi-finished
products of displaying stand or frame fabricated locally in advance, non-combustible materials used
for such stands or frames must be provided with inspection badges issued by local fire protection
authority, and before entering the exhibition hall for construction, the copies of such inspection
badges shall be submitted to the CODE Drawing Review Group for verification and records.
(10) No roofing should be provided on any booths and decorations in any forms, in order to ensure
normal operations of fire alarm system and automatic sprinkling system.

(11) Raw space booth over 50m should place 4kg’s ABC fire extinguisher (1for each 50 m ) from
Move-in to Move-out.

5. Electric Safety Management
(1) During the fair, the exhibitors that need to connect or install the electrical power for booth
construction and performance machines, add lighting lamps at the booths and use video recorders,
TV sets, copy machines, refrigerators, lamp houses, neon lights, or other power-driven devices, shall
submit an application for power consumption to the Exhibition Center appointed by the CODE, and
the Exhibition Center shall send electricians to complete the electrical connections, irrespective of
the power ratings of these devices. Any exhibitors must not install or connect these devices without
authorization.
(2) Before entering the exhibition halls for booth construction, the construction contractors shall
report the electrical load to the Foundation Guarantee Department of the Exhibition Center for review.
After completion of construction, power may not be supplied until approval is obtained after check.
The exhibitors that need to increase electrical loads shall report actual power loads to the Exhibition
Center, so that scientific regulation and distribution of electrical loads can be carried out in all the
exhibition halls. If the actual power consumption does not agree with reported power load, the
Exhibition Center shall have right to refuse the installation. When the exhibitor reports the power load
again, it must pay the cost for the extra power at double fee rate, and besides, it shall be given
punishment depending on the circumstances of such violation.
(3) Exhibitors should consider booth power supply position when designing booth electricity supply
and should make the most use of their own booth power supply boxes. The power supply box should
cover with movable lid, power source. Out-connector should be obligated in advance.
(4) After the exhibitors determine the power consumption drawings and loads before booth
construction, these drawings and load must not be changed. If the exhibitors’ request to change the
booth installations and such change causes refitting and position change of the power-driven
devices, additional fees must be paid. If the expense is not paid according to related regulations, the
electrical power shall not be supplied.
(5) The electricians and welders of raw space booth contractor must work with related professional
qualification badges. The electricians and welders that have not such badges are not allowed to
enter the exhibition halls for construction.
(6)Installation and use of electrical equipment and the design and laying of wiring and pipelines in
any exhibition halls (booths) shall comply with related technical regulations for fire safety of our
country. The electrical lines shall be the combustion-retardant wires passing quality inspection by fire
protection authority (attached with inspection badges or labels), and are laid inside metal conduit or
combustion-retardant sleeve conduit. Flexible wires, the wires with aluminum core and electrical
adhesive plaster must not be used. Besides, grounding conductors must be correctly connected. If
there are not combustion-retardant wires passing quality inspection by fire protection authority under
exhibitor’s responsibility, combustion-retardant wires recognized by Shenzhen Municipal Fire
Prevention and Control Bureau shall be used instead in order to ensure electrical safety in the
exhibition halls.
(7) Billboards,floodlights, quartz lamps, lamp houses and lamp posts must be fitted with safety
facilities, such as asbestos gaskets and ventilation holes. Ballasts should be provided with fire safety
protection. The lamps should be at least 30cm away from the exhibits and other objects. If checks

show that the power cables do not comply with safety requirements, the Fair shall not supply the
power and will order that corrective actions be taken or such cables are removed. The enterprise
shall take the responsibilities for all the consequences caused due to refusing to take corrective
actions.
(8) It is prohibited to use electric water jugs, electric oven and electric iron or other electric devices
with high power. If these devices must be unavoidably used, approval is necessary before use.
Protective guard shall be installed outside of high-power lamps (such as iodine-tungsten lamp below
500W). It is strictly prohibited to install neon lights.
(9) The exhibitors shall take good care of the electrical connection points in the exhibition halls
(booths) and the power-driven devices at the booths, and do not dismantle, open and connect them
without prior consent. In case of violating this clause, the power supply to such halls (booths) shall be
disconnected and financial penalty must be applied as well.
(10) The electrical devices installed by raw space booth contractor shall be collectively managed
according to the electrical regulations. The metal enclosure (including aluminum alloy brackets) of
current leaking protection switch shall be grounded repeatedly, and must not be connected to the
electrical box and plugs in the exhibition hall. It is not allowed to suspend lamps and electric wires
down from the ceiling.
(11) The switches of electrical boxes for raw space areas (booths) shall be installed at striking, safe
and easily operated position.
(12) No lamps and power sockets are equipped at raw space booths, and fees must be paid for
self-installed power-driven devices.

   6. Banner Advertisement in Exhibition Hall
(1)Exhibition hall’s top banner suspension operation should only be done by specific operators

of the exhibition hall or authorized professionals. Unauthorized individuals or units forbid to do

any form’s suspension operation.

(2) Exhibition hall’s top banner suspension operation content limited to advertising scroll.

Using exhibition hall wall to weight heavy, fixing, or stand booth structure were forbidden.

(3) Technology parameter requirement.

① suspension point location: Shape of the exhibition hall top is camber. Net highest distance

between suspension point and floor is 28.5m; Net lowest distance is 14m. suspend point evenly

disposed on the down side of the sub-girder of the top with cross spacing 6m×6m. Banners can

only suspend on suspension point.

② suspension weight :Banner weight between two points limited to 35kg, over one would not

accept.

③ Banner description : Diameter from top to down should between 6cm to 10cm, double page

banner should keep in one.

(4) suspension service notes:

① Application : Suspension demand should via host (sponsor) unit or host contractor to apply 5

days ahead.

② Application information: Including suspension name, size, material, weight and content,

drawing should also precisely mark the suspension position and height.

③ Banner offerings: Banners should hand over generally 3 days ahead, and banner size must

fully correspond to the exhibition hall’s rule, otherwise, host has the right to reject. Details

please contact host operators.

④Charge: Detail price please consult organizer or host contractor.

⑤ Field cooperation: Please arrange specific staff on the field to cooperate with exhibition hall

operators work for the suspension operation’s complication. Any change after in position will be

charged as the second operation.

⑥Banner Retreat: Suspension application should give clear indication of whether banner retreat

service is needed or not. If YES, please come to pick up at instructed time and place.

iv . Exhibition Facility Lease and store Service
Relieved together with “Exhibition Affair Form” to exhibitors before the show
Administrative regulations for exhibitors who self-taking load & unload vehicles:
1. Chain block vehicles entering to load or unload exhibits should hand over administrative fees to

the Exhibition Center, charged 25 RMB/m . Only after that, vehicles can enter the regulated area to
working under the unity conduct of the field operator.
2. Vehicles with exhibits should under conducting of the field operators and enter orderly.
3. Out-coming forklifts are not allowed to working in the exhibition centre area. Do not use grounder
& crowbar.
4. Cranes entering for construction / decoration should be charged 50RMB/ton/day as administrative
fees.

Chapter Five Move-out
I. Move-out Time
After exhibition is completed, exhibitors shall arrange for move-out within specified move-out time.
They shall move their raw space booths out of the exhibition hall. Move-out work may be done

3. Regulations on Move-out Management
(1) Before the completion of the fair, exhibitors must not move out their exhibits in order not to affect
normal work of the fair.
(2) After the fair ends, exhibitors may start to tidy up their devices, articles and documents at any
time. Booths dismantling may be commenced at 18:00.
(3) All the persons who work within specified move-out time shall wear Move-Out Pass when they
enter and go out of the exhibition hall. Do not transfer or sell the Exhibitor Pass, Guest Pass, or
Move-out Pass to other organizations or individuals.
(4) All the cartons and crates must not be placed on the passages so that carpet on the passages
can be removed.
(5) The exhibits are moved out of the exhibition hall gate by submitting the release badges issued by
the fair.
(6) Please take good care of the facilities in the halls, and do not move them, take away with the
exhibits or damage them. The violators shall provide compensation at original prices and even be

punished severely in serious circumstances.
(7) Unless specially requested by the exhibitors, the site working persons will discard all the articles
or exhibits left on site after move-out.
(8) During move-out, the exhibitors shall not dismantle or remove all the power facilities installed by
the fair. Any person who removes any properties belonging to the exhibiting facilities including
electrical equipment and communication equipment or facilities shall provide compensation at
original prices of these facilities or equipment, or shall be handled by the security group in serious
circumstances.
(9) Exhibitors shall observe the “Exhibition Agenda Schedule” and other instructions issued by the
Office of Organizing Committee. “Move-out Notification” issued on site shall prevail in all regulations
concerning move-out.
4. Move-out Service
i . Cash Deposit Refund Procedures
1. Return the leased facilities to the corresponding site service desk within 30 min before closing,
and handle lease deposit formalities.
2. Clear the rubbish at the booth out of the exhibition hall, and after the field management persons of
the hall confirm that, directly receive the refunded cash deposit at the site service desk. Cleanness
cash deposit shall not be refunded of booths for which all rubbish has not been cleared.
ii. Transport Back the Exhibits
Please consult the freight forwarder appointed by each show organizer.


                           Chapter 6           Badges Application

     1. Badges Category
     There are classified into eight kinds of badges for the CODE 2008, includes VIP Pass,
Distinguished Guest Pass, Exhibitor Pass, Visitor Pass, Staff Pass, Journalist Pass, Vehicle
Pass, Move-in/out Pass.

     2. Requirements of Badges Acquisition and Quantity
    i. VIP Pass: is provided to the vice provincial (ministerial) officials or higher-level officials,
presidents of multinational companies (groups), Academicians of CAE (Chinese Academy of
Engineering) or CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciences), Nobel winners, and vice mayors or
higher-level officials of Shenzhen Municipality, and photos are not necessary.

     ii. Distinguished Guest Pass: is provided to the distinguished visitors participating in the
CODE and related vice-bureau-level or higher-level officials of Shenzhen Municipality, If the
booth area is below 9 square meters, 1 pass shall be offered. But the maximum for each unit
shall be 10 passes.

    iii. Exhibitor Pass: is offered to the exhibitor enterprises, The number of passes is
calculated according to booth area as follows: (actual booth area/standard booth area) x 3. If the
booth area is below the standard booth area, 3 passes shall be offered.

        iv. Visitor Pass: is mainly offered to professional visitors.

    v. Move-in/out Pass: is offered to move-in construction staff. A copy of business license,
identification cards of construction staff and the recommendation letter from delegation unit or
exhibitors (not belong to a delegation) are required. The number of passes are (actual booth
area/standard booth area) x 3.

        vi. Staff Pass: photos and individual information are required, 15 members for a delegation
unit.

     vii. Journalist Pass: is offered to the journalists present at the CODE. Propaganda Group
shall collect relevant information as well as make and allocate the Journalist Passes.

     ix. Vehicle Pass: is offered to the vehicles of VIPs and the officials of the Organizing
Committee, vehicles of the Reception Group for the purpose of reception, and working vehicles
of the Trading Center during the CODE.

        3. How to Apply for a Pass
1. Please contact organizer for Distinguished Guest Pass, Exhibitor Pass, & Vehicle Pass with
   stamped contract.
2. For application for Move-in Pass/Move-out Pass, the construction contractor shall submit
   related documents to the site service desk, with RMB5 paid for one pass.
3. Visitor Pass, there are three way to applying visitor pass

        2. Visitor Invitation Letter, the organizer will distribute visitor invitation letter to professional
            visitor before exhibition, please fill in and enter the exhibiting hall with it.

The organizer will invite buyers for 2010CODE & CTVF, those who exhibiting in CODE&
CTVF2010, can offering buyer list you interested, then, CODE & CTVF organizer will invite for
you. Please fill in 《CODE2008 buyer nominated invitation Form》-Manual 2, Submitting
Deadline—Apr. 30th.
2. On-site information release
For the purpose of better communication between exhibitor and buyer, CODE & CTVF 2010
organizer free offering ‘on-site information release area’ which can be used for New Products
Release, News Release, Buyer Purchasing bidding, on-site signing, etc.

4. The background board for the stage will be done by Organizer, if any exhibitor or buyer
    would like to exchange, please charge by yourself.
5. If any exhibitor or buyer wanted to decorate the stage with your own designing, please
    charge by yourself, and get back to the previous condition after finish.

1. The organizer will only support for call together visitors, The promulgator will responsible for
the mainly work of it while on-site information release.
