     2012 WINTER LEAGUE SHOWJUMPING COMPETITIONS
                              (Open to members only)
                          @ Dryden Riding Centre, Ashkirk.

                 Sun 21st Oct, Sun 18th Nov and Sun 16th Dec.
                                  11am start.

CLASS 1: CLEAR ROUND. Max 65cms.
Open to inexperienced horses/riders as a training round and to horses entered only in
class 2 (Nursery). NOT open to anyone competing in class 3 onwards
CLASS 2: NURSERY CLASS. Max 75cms.
Restricted to horses who have not won any money at any competition with jumping or
won any class at Novice level or above. Horses jump 2 rounds and penalties are accrued
for knockdowns/refusals and the second round is given marks for style

CLASS 3: CLEAR ROUND at nursery height for Novice class entries only
CLASS 4: NOVICE CLASS. Max 90cms.
Restricted to horses who have not been placed at any BE event or won more than £20 in
any class with jumping

CLASS 5: CLEAR ROUND at novice height for Intermediate and Open horses only.
CLASS 6: INTERMEDIATE CLASS. Max 1m. OPEN
CLASS 7: OPEN CLASS. Max. 1.05m

ENTRIES ON THE DAY - £7 per class except Clear Round (classes 1, 3 & 5) £5.
Please bring correct money if possible.

N.B. The December competition has an additional class of Christmas Theme Fancy
Dress Pairs/Relay where teams of two are firstly judged on their fancy dress then jump
the course passing a baton to their partner to begin. This will run over the nursery
course and will be timed.

All three competitions count towards Winter Show Jumping League. Points will be
awarded for classes 2,4,6 and 7 and the horse/rider combinations with most points at each
level will be presented with their league prizes at the Annual Getogether.
Previous Nursery, Novice and Intermediate league winners may continue to compete at
their winning level but will not be eligible for league points. Open winners may continue
to contest the Open League.

Please be considerate when parking. Trailers park in layby if possible to allow
lorries to park in yard.
