        2012 – 2013 BIKE LOANER PROGRAM


I, ____________________________________ hereby agree to participate in the

Vassar College, bicycle loaner program. As part of this agreement, I will,
have this bike registered in my name for both the Fall and Spring
semester. I will be provided a secure locking system that only I
will have the combination to open. As part of this agreement, I
will return this bike to Safety and Security before the Thanksgiving
recess, starting November 21st, so it can be stored over the impending
cold winter months. On or about the end of Spring break, I will again be
able to take out my assigned bike for usage during the rest of the Spring
Semester. Prior to the end of the Spring Semester, I will return this bike
in good working condition to Safety and Security.

If the bike is stolen or lost through my neglect, I agree to have a charge
of $50 placed on my student billing account. An example of neglect
would be, having the bike stolen because I failed to secure it properly.

Liability Clause: Vassar College cannot be held liable for any operator
misuse or any injuries incurred as a result of poor operation on the part
of the bike rider. Students are to report any mechanical failure
immediately and bring their bike to Safety and Security for repair.
