HepBFree San Francisco Hepatitis B is the number one cause of liver cancer world wide In collaboration with the San Francisco Department of Public Health and the Bay Area Hospital Council, UCSF Medical Center is sponsoring a monthly Hepatitis B screening and vaccination clinic
Who should be screened? People from areas with high rates of hepatitis B, particularly Asians and Pacific Islanders. What services are provided? Free blood testing for hepatitis B and free or low cost vaccination for hepatitis B. Where: UCSF Hepatitis B Screening and Vaccination Clinic 2330 Post Street, 1st floor Phone number: 415-885-3580 When: First Saturday of every month, from 9am-12pm Starting on: Saturday, November 3, 2007 Why: Get informed, protect yourself and your family from future hepatits B infection and its consequences, and identify the need for treatment and evaluation! Translators for the following languages are available: Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean and Tagalog. The UCSF community is invited to participate in this program. This service is not sponsored by Occupational Health Services and the screening and vaccination information does not become part of the employee’s Occupational Health medical record.
