PROGRAMMER / ANALYST II


POSITION SUMMARY:
ABIM is looking for an experienced programmer with strong practical working knowledge of .Net technologies,
recent experience working with SOA, SOAP, WCF, and experience in client/server side development on high
transaction applications. Report to Director, Software Development and Support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 Experience with .Net Framework 4.0 (3.5 is acceptable).
 Experience with MS .Net, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, AJAX.
 Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) - (SOAP preferred, REST is acceptable).
 Experience with MS BizTalk as well as it’s Business Rules Engine (BRE) and Bussiness Application
   Montitoring (BAM) functionality.
 Experience with XML technologies (XML, XSD schema, XSLT transformations).
 Experience accessing Oracle 10/11 and SQL Server 2005/2008 databases via Entity Framework, ODP.NET,
   LINQ, NHibernate, etc..
 SQL database manipulation experience.
 Firm understanding of object-oriented analysis and design.
 Documentation of application via Design and Functional specifications.
 Knowledge and use of Agile development methodologies.
 Experience adhering to project management procedures and policies.
 Ability to work directly with business unit managers to identify and capture requirements.
 Team-oriented, goal-focused self-starter capable of working with minimum supervision.
 Must be able to code, test, debug complex applications.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
 Experience with SiteCore CMS.
 Knowledge of design patterns, UML.
 Experience in the exam/testing industry.
 Microsoft .Net, C#, ASP.Net, ODP.Net, OOP, WCF, .Net Framework, HTML, XML, XSD, XSLT, ASP, Oracle,
   SQL Server 2005/2008
 BS in Computer Science or related field.
 Candidate will be expected to work independently, with minimal supervision, in all phases of the software
   development life cycle from requirements through testing.
