John Casey & Associates is partnering with a people based energy management and conservation organization
to identify a Regional VP of Sales & Marketing for the Northeast region of the company. Our client is the only
energy conservation company in the United States with a proven 24-year record of helping educational
institutions save substantial educational dollars through sound energy management. The RVP of Sales position
is based in the northeast and will report to the EVP of Sales. This is NOT a cold-calling role!

Due to the ongoing success of this outstanding company, our search is for a top performer with hands-on
experience in sales, preferably within the professional services industry. We are looking for a proven leader who
can create excitement, effectively communicate at all levels of the organization and continuously sell, at a high
level, energy savings consulting services to schools, primarily K-12 systems, community colleges and universities,
in the states of CT, RI, VT, NH, ME and NY.

Salary for this position is $90-120K guaranteed base for the first 18 months – fully commissioned after 18
months. Unlimited upside in commissions with current RVPs making 3-5 times guaranteed base. Must be
authorized to work in the U.S. as sponsorship will not be provided. Excellent benefits, including a Qualified
Retirement Plan and a matching 401K plan. Relocation will be provided for the right candidate, if not located
in the Northeast.

The following minimum requirements apply:

             Requires a BA/BS in Marketing, Business or Engineering related field.
             A minimum of 10 years sales and marketing experience. Prefer experience in complex consultative
              selling of intangible services, within the professional services, educational or technical services
              industry; however, complex product sales will also be considered.
             80% travel is required. (Monday-Thursday – overnight-must enjoy being a road warrior).
             A demonstrated track record and recent history in closing sales.
             Requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills with a high degree of professionalism.
             A demonstrated track record in driving organizational improvement.
             Experience in group presentations at the senior management/C-level.
             Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial attitude.
             Demonstrated skills in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred skills and experience:

             Able to demonstrate successful sales accomplishments in a professional environment.
             Prior sales experience to schools or other public environments is desirable, not required.
             Ability to understand and clearly articulate the business proposition.
             Strong analytical skills.
             Ability to work closely with engineering and other technical consultants.
             Effective presentation skills and presence in front of school boards a plus.
             A self-starter needing limited supervision.
             Stable work history – good tenure.
