Instructions for Department Users
The Manage Job Postings page lists all the job postings to which your role has
  access.

From the Manage Job Postings link, you can:
 Create a new job posting
 View applications to job postings

  Create a New Job Posting
       1. Click the Create a new job posting button.

                                 1

       2. Use the drop down list to select the appropriate Job Type.

Note: It is important that you select the correct job type because certain information
that is associated with it will default automatically on subsequent screens based on the
job type. There is a document available online called: Using Job Types in TAGA that will
give you useful guidelines related to Job Types.

       3. Select the appropriate Posting Type: Open Posting or Reserved for First Year
          Masters or PhD Student.

Note: Most postings are open postings which means that they are visible online by
all users. If your posting is reserved for a first year Masters or PhD student, it will not be
visible online and you should give the appropriate individuals the posting id so that they
can apply for it. Do not use the reserved functionality in TAGA to limit the number of
applicants to a non-reserved posting; doing so is against the rules of the collective
  agreement.

       4. Populate the remaining fields in the Job Posting Details section.
