     smith-made basket spit. Early 19th C oil/canvas portrait of a young man. Excellent pastel portrait of a young woman in original
     oval frame. Another excellent portrait of a young child, also in original oval frame. Pair of late 18th C cresset-top andirons with
     triple spit hooks. Fancy brass warming pan. Painted wooden fireplace bellows. Half a dozen sheet iron candle lanterns, including
     one with horn windows. Tripod 18th C candleholder with fancy douter. Two excellent painted oval bandboxes or bride’s boxes. Tole-
     ware coffeepot with good paint. Excellent pewter chargers and much other pewter and brass. Brass and iron tea kettle. Three brass
     saucepans, two small copper kettles. 19th C sheetiron “peeking door” roasting oven with spit. Tin apple roaster with handle. Fancy
     wrought iron broiler. Pine wall box with old clay pipes. Rare iron double candleholder on long handles…purpose?? Lot of 18th C iron
     kitchen tools. Firkin in old yellow paint. Wooden tub from Manchester, NH country store. Pine spice wallbox. Several rush lights.
     Bail handled pantry boxes. Hanging loom light. SEVERAL GOOD CLOCKS: George Hatch Massachusetts banjo clock, Jerome and

                                                             blanket box with till. Miniature 5 drawer Empire doll’s bureau. Wooden hay
                                                             wagon. Toy wagon labeled “William Aston.” Three fair teddy bears. Bi Lo and
                                                             earlier dolls (rough). Tricycle and little red wagon. Mobo horse. Homemade
                                                             dapple rocking horse. Little Noah’s Ark with animals. Sawyers whirligig and
                                                             a part sailor whirligig. OUTSTANDING OLD BLUE DOLL CARRIAGE
                                                             WITH HOOD AND OUTSTANDING SWING ROCKING HORSE ON RED
                                                             BASE. 19th C paper set of blocks in box. PLUS A NUMBER OF OTHER
                                                             GOOD TOYS.
                                                             SAMPLERS AND FLOOR COVERINGS: Four excellent framed 19th C
                                                             samplers, all in fine condition: 1813 Mary Thurber, 1827 Abbey Westcott,
                                                             1847 Mary Ogden and a large circa 1850 Dutch sampler centered on a little
                                                             girl seated on a large (Newfoundland?) dog. Large hooked rug and two large
     woolen braided rugs, handmade. About ten early Oriental rugs from scatters to small room sizes, some need cleaning, all directly
     from the estate. Blue and white woven coverlets, other coverlets and quilts.
     EXCELLENT CERAMICS: Three sets of colorful Staffordshire mantel dogs. Two Victorian toiletry jug and bowl sets. Scalloped
     Imari charger. Small spatterware pitcher. Staffordshire floral and figural groupings. Good pair of dog Staffordshire spill vases. Sev-
