        Our Challenge:
  To Attract, Grow, Maintain &
  Enhance a Critical Element of
       Florida’s Economy

THOMAS L. BAPTISTE, Lt Gen, USAF (Ret)
                   President/Executive Director

                   OVERVIEW
• Florida’s Modeling, Simulation & Training (MS&T)
  Cluster
   • Meeting National requirements
   • Big impact on Florida’s economy

                  SIMULATION
• Simulations save lives, money & time
• M&S technologies are used in training, planning,
  analysis, engineering, test & evaluation
• Research can be performed using simulation
instead of costly & often times damaging live or “real
  world” events

                   “Almost every soldier or
                    Marine deployed to the
                    Middle East is trained
                   on some kind of system
                     developed in Central
                           Florida.”

                     Orlando Sentinel, Jan. 11, 2009
                                                       3
