The Honorable Andrew M. Cuomo
Governor of New York State
NYS State Capitol Building
Albany, NY 12224

Dear Governor Cuomo,

My name is Jaquan Brown ,I go to Corcoran high school ,I am 18 and I am against

Im concerned with the hydrofraking situation because studies show that
hydrofracking is bad for our environment. Studies show that hydrofracking can
harm the environment causing more green house gas due to the gas from the
equipment and the natural gas getting released in to the air during the operation.
There are not any studies that show our drinking water is getting contaminated
but with all the unknown chemicals going into the ground to do the project who
knows if its going to ruin our drinking water. When you think about it ,its not such
a good idea to wait until people are being harmed and cant drink their water or
take a shower to decide not to do it or cancel to operation.

I think the government should ban hyrofracking in New York State due to the fact
that hydrofracking risks are unknown. I think the uncertainty of it is enough to call
the operation off.
