silt reMoVAl in the month of May,
Aquatic Solutions will have barges on the
lakes to do work for individual lakefront
owners. We encourage all owners to use
sWiM lessons June 4th – June 14th

from their lakefront. All lakefront owners lessons are taught in 2 week sessions consisting of 8 lessons,
each lasting 45 minutes. lessons are four days a week;

GOLF EVENTS RECAP
st. PAtriCK’s dAY sCrAMBle – Was held on March 17th. it was a 4 – Person scramble
with a twist. this event you could only take 4 clubs. Players may choose only 4 clubs
from their bag (like the 4 leaf clover). Anyone wearing green got a mulligan. the
event was handicapped using the schied Method to determine net scores. 44 Players
competed in this year’s event. the winning team this year shooting a gross score of 66 don & Cecilia rakestraw and eleanor & George Gibbons
and net score of 52 was the team consisting of Don and cecilia rakestraw and George
and eleanor Gibbons. second place went to the team made up of nick and Kyle Glasgow, ryan Adams and Mason Kirk. they shot a gross score of
63 and a net score of 53. third place went to rick salese, rick Warnke, Bobby and Julie Pyles. they had a gross score of 66 and net score of 53.
Closest to the Pin on hole # 8 went to James hatcher and Closest to the Pin on hole #11 went
to Dave Olsen. thank you again to everyone who participated in this fun event.
lAKe ArroWheAd MAster’s tournAMent – the 2012 Masters tournament was held on
April 7th. the event was an individual stroke play event that combined their net score with a
PGA player’s 3rd round score at the Masters. congratulations to Brad Jones who won the 2012
sPrinG BreAK Junior Golf CliniC – Was held April 4 – 6 where several lake Arrowhead future
golfers had a great time while learning about proper etiquette and improving their game. this
spring Break Clinic is a precursor to our summer Golf Camp in June which is an expanded
version where we spend more time on each subject. thank you to everyone who attended and
we look forward to seeing you at the summer Camp!
