Media Server Installation: Example

Verifying Your Installation
Some examples:
• View Oracle Secure Backup processes in Linux:
ps -e | grep ob
• Use obtool commands to view Oracle Secure Backup
users and default media family:
ob> lsuser
ob> lsmf --long

Uninstalling Oracle Secure Backup
• Have all users log out of Oracle Secure Backup
applications.
• Close all sessions of Web tool.
• Use the uninstallob script.
– You must be logged in as the root user.
– Call script from the parent directory of the Oracle Secure
Backup home directory.
• Choose whether you want to save or remove the:
– Oracle Secure Backup directory
– Administrative directory
