Supplier Readiness Engineer – New Products (September 2010-May 2012)
Consultant position charged with coordinating all activities to drive proper supplier and component
selection for Motorola Networks (now Nokia Siemens Networks) new product Introduction. The single
point of contact for new product development regarding all supplier related activities.
     Achieved material cost and delivery goals in launching three new products in Q4, 2010
     Managed extended direct material cost of $4.6 million for product launches In Q4 2010 and Q2 2011
     In Q4 2011, achieved material goals of 100% qualification and DM cost ($50K/unit) for Pilot run

MOTOROLA, Schaumburg/Libertyville, IL
Material Program Manager (2005-2007)
Charged with improving material management processes for $36B, Fortune 100 company’s $4.8B mobile
devices product line. Ensured new product introduction (NPI) builds and volume new product launches
completed without material delays. Managed vertical integrator supplier’s material and delivery
expectations. Carried out material cost analyses and identified areas for cost reduction. Coordinated as
many as 100 vendors per program, with 25 top suppliers. Negotiated product and program needs.
Communicated with, and monitored, outsourced suppliers and global transportation companies.
     Facilitated 20% increase in operating earnings and 40% increase in shipments in 2005 by enabling
     600,000 unit build in one quarter.
