                                 Prostitution is Good for Nevada.
Banning Legal Brothels Puts Visitors at Risk
                                                   By Wayne Bride, CEO

Prostitution is available in Las Vegas, it’s just not legal, and that’s the plain truth.
Every local knows this fact, but our visitors are left with a very different impression.
Legal brothels should be available to those that seek them. It should be regulated,
taxed and be open to the regular market forces like any other business in order to
                    protect our visitors.

Being the only state that tolerates legalized prostitution, Nevada is in a unique
position. Over the past 10 years the state has not only enjoyed a growth in
residence and business, we have continually grown our tourist numbers to over an
impressive 41,000 million visitors per year. I daresay that these visitors and
Let’s enjoy who residents are aware that prostitution is legal in parts of Nevada and that is why
we are and quit many of them utilize the services of the working girl in legal settings.
   ignoring the
reality that The remaining 49 states have outlawed one of the oldest professions in the world
legalized only to create illegal prostitution on their streets. In a legal setting, health codes
prostitution are stringent and help to create the safe settings that are provided to the numerous
contributes visitors that wish to partake of the offerings. Every day in Las Vegas, taxicabs and
greatly to the limos make trips to our nearby neighbors in Pahrump to visit a brothel and probably
fabric of our the same happens at our neighbor to the north, Washoe County. Our state’s
society. economy, not only in the rural areas, but the state as a whole, benefits greatly from
                    this industry.

I have visited several of the member brothels and met with the managers and
working girls on several occasion to offer our members benefits to them. I have yet
to meet one working girl that isn’t there by choice and doesn’t have a love what she
has chosen as a profession. These girls are beautiful and intelligent, and often
have a second profession or business in the more mainstream areas of business
                    and industry.

  Time: 11am
Where: The White House, 3260 Joe W. Brown Dr. (Desert Inn and Joe Brown, Northeast corner)
  Topic: Financial Roundtable
Sponsor: Erika Napoletano, UBS Financial Services

Wow...the stock market has had a volatile couple of months here. Bring to the Brunch your financial
questions. This will be an open forum for all of your financial questions: from retirement to life
insurance, from savings vehicles to hedge funds, home buying and mortgages to saving for your
children's education, and from "market timing" to "time in the market." Are you a business owner with
a current retirement plan and concerned with you annual fees and participation rates? Are you self-
employed and need a way to LEGALLY reduce your taxable income while saving for retirement? When
is the last time someone reviewed your life insurance policy for you? Is your business banking TRULY
paying you back? Are you contributing to your retirement funds? Aren't financial advisors expensive? I
don't have a lot of money---I don't need a will...or do I? Only rich people need estate planning, right?

No question is too big or too small, and we hope to share some pearls of wisdom with the
SCCC membership. Join us for lunch, bring your questions, and I'll be hosting a drawing for
some fun prizes at the end of our brunch!

Much Appreciated Words from the Harley!
The Harley-Davidson Café joined the Sin City
Chamber Of Commerce for many reasons but
specifically for the networking connections and the
marketing opportunities. This Chamber is a
powerful resource and a link to individuals and
business owners who are dedicated to improving
                                                   the city of Las Vegas.
Strength lies in numbers and one of the Chamber’s
strengths lies in its membership base: this Chamber
is dedicated to its members. It represents a strong
and diverse group from a variety of industries and
professions working together to help build a stronger
economy and make Las Vegas a great place to live
                                                   and work.
The SCCC is growing rapidly, yet the association
remains intimate making it easier to develop
                                                   professional relationships. The Chamber’s mixers
are a forum where we can network, share
information and innovative ideas and collaborate on
issues affecting our businesses and our city.
The purpose of a Chamber is to work for you and
your business and I believe the Sin City Chamber Of
Commerce is committed to that purpose. Joining
the SCCC will enhance and expand your customer

Sin City Chamber Celebrating 2 Years Continued
On our first anniversary we had about 150 chamber members. Now for our second anniversary
we are celebrating with 400 members! Not bad for a brand new chamber as controversial as
                     this one.

Yes, we still are the chamber that incites controversy amongst the right wing conservatives of
this town. While we embrace the concept of Sin City Las Vegas, there are still those staid, old,
unadventurous individuals out there in our fabulous city that would prefer Las Vegas to be

Where else but in a party atmosphere can you make acquaintances out of strangers, and then
friends out of acquaintances? We are happy that we have been able to do that for our
members. Why, we have even brought members together who are now more than friends!

Our mixers during this second year were at an eclectic mix of venues. We hope to continue to
hold our mixers in a diverse assortment of locations so that we have a smorgasbord of places
for our members to meet and greet and learn. Most of our mixers are attracting anywhere from
                     100 to 180 people.

However, during our second year of existence, we have had much so more than fun mixers.
We started our Power Brunch Education Series and we have had a great response to those
meetings. Our first two family nights in the Ice Box at the Las Vegas Wranglers Hockey games
were a huge success. We thank our sponsors, New Beginnings Laser Concepts, the Chicken
Ranch, BOSS Business Services, McCormick Insurance, Pleasures Gentlemen’s Club, Big Ox,
the White House and Bart Zimmer for helping to make these two events happen. We doubled
our attendance at the 2nd Annual Chicken Ranch Brothel BBQ. Two hundred and twenty
members and their guests drove to Pahrump for this party.
  We are not only
trying to think This past year we also created our Advisory Council and we would like to thank our great
“outside the members of that committee who have given us the gift of their time and patience as well as

                     one, too.
      trying to

box! Charleston Lodge at the end of July, our first Oktoberfest at Sheri’s Ranch in Pahrump, our first
Awards Gala Dinner in early November, and also in November we are planning for a rodeo in
conjunction with the Intertribal of Las Vegas. It will be the first ever Sin City Chamber Of
Commerce and Intertribal of Las Vegas “Great Western Intertribal Rodeo”. Don’t forget our
Second Annual Golf Tournament on September 2nd, 2006.

We are not only trying to think “outside the box”. We are trying to eliminate the box! As always,
we appreciate your feedback and any ideas on what you would like to see happening in the Sin
City Chamber Of Commerce arena. Feel free to call or email and let us know your ideas. We
are always looking for something new and innovative to try. It keeps our energy and interest up
                     and our creative juices flowing.

While we like to brag about our accomplishments and our future plans, we must admit that if it
weren’t for the participation and support of our members, the Sin City Chamber Of Commerce
wouldn’t be where it is in just two short years. Thank you all and Happy Second Anniversary to
us all as we look forward to an exciting third year!

Prostitution is Good for Nevada. . . continued from Page 2
  By Wayne Bride, CEO

There are those who question whether we should continue to offer legal prostitution because they
believe Fortune 500 companies would not relocate to Las Vegas if we are the only state offering this
service. They think families won’t move here because we continue to be who we are. Well, to those
of you, I say, hasn’t the past 10 years of unprecedented growth in Nevada given you a CLUE?

Nevada has always been unique in that it doesn’t think like the rest of the country. We believe in
fairness, freedom and personal rights. We like to make our tourists happy, provide them with the
services they are looking for, and if legal prostitution is one of those services, then let us embrace this
industry and reap the benefits. Let Nevada stay unique and on the pinnacle of personal freedom.

It is not a question of whether we NEED legalized prostitution, but rather if by eliminating the legal
brothels do we not contribute to the crime and unsafe sex practices that result in streetwalking and the
like. Go down to Metro and get the numbers on vice in Las Vegas. Look at the number of prostitution
arrests, the cost to taxpayers to try and put some restraints on the illegal trade and then measure the
costs against the legal areas of the state.

I recently read an article in the Las Vegas Sun questioning the usefulness of prostitution and whether
we, as a state, should continue to allow it. The writer questioned whether a Fortune 500 company
would move to a state with legalized sex for sale, by license. He questioned whether a board of
directors would be offended and how their spouses would react.

I say we should continue to embrace this state that has grown in tourism and relocation faster than
any other state in the nation in spite of also maintaining legalized prostitution. Let’s enjoy who we are
and quit ignoring the reality that legalized prostitution contributes greatly to the fabric of our society.
We choose to offer these services because it is a fundamental desire of human nature and one that
should be embraced for its record of public safety and benevolence.

Entertainer of the Month ~ July 2006

Dominique
Appearing courtesy of the Chicken
Ranch Brothel

My name is Dominique, and I am a
working girl at the world famous Chicken
Ranch Brothel in Pahrump, NV.

I am from Reno, Nevada and people
always tell me that I am a happy, free-
spirited person that will do whatever it
takes to make others around me happy.

I am 24 years old, 36C-24-38, with long
legs. I am 6’0’ and just 135 lbs with
blonde hair and green eyes. I love music
especially rap, rock and classical . . .
basically anything, except country.

Working at the Chicken Ranch is great. I
really enjoy working there because it is
such a relaxing, friendly, and fun place.
The staff really goes out of their way to
make sure that the clients and the working
girls are happy.

The satisfaction of knowing that for one
small moment in a man’s day, I make them
forget about all of their worries is the best
part of my job.

I am a Proud Member of the Sin City Chamber of
Commerce. All of the members and executive staff
welcome me and others in this business with open arms,
                                          when others unfairly snub us.

                                          Thank You Sin City!!!

Member Spotlight ~ Martin Yuschalk
Even from his earliest days, it seemed Martin Yuschalk was destined to become a photographer. Born
in Oakland, California and raised as a military brat, Martin has always been a person who truly loves
to make people laugh and smile. His parents would oftentimes take young Martin out to a restaurant,
where he would dance for his dinner. As a young man, Martin was always being asked by his parents
to take the family photos, thus his beginning fascination with photography.

"When anyone asked me, Hey kid, what do you want to be? A policeman? A firefighter? I always said,
nope, I'm gonna be a photographer." It seems Martin was always emulating a photographer in some
respect. "I remember going to a Halloween party dressed up as a photographer, and my date was
dressed as a Playboy bunny. We had a blast and we have all of those great photos to help us
remember the great fun we had." Martin was one of those teenagers whose bedroom walls were
covered with posters, from Ansel Adams to Farrah Fawcett. "I grew up admiring Ansel Adam's
photography. His work was my initial inspiration."

While on the path to his dream of becoming a photographer, Martin always had his camera with him.
Traveling with his family, he grew up in various parts of the country, from Oakland, California,
Corpus Christi, Texas, to Whidby Island, Washington. Having his father's military influence, Martin
also chose to join the military, yet also knew that photography was his first love.

Ten days after graduating from Burroughs High School in Ridgecrest, California, he enlisted in the
United States Air Force at the age of eighteen. Martin proudly served his country for eight years, all
the while shooting remarkable photos of his many travels and adventures. "People are my canvas, as
well as pets and unique places. I always had plenty of canvas while serving in the USAF."

                                                                         Janice Evans, seen to the

                     Chamber Mixer Attracts Great Crowd!
On June 13, 2006, the Sin City Chamber of Commerce held its monthly mixer and networking social at
Seamless Gentlemen’s Club. What began as a hot afternoon turned into a very cool night.

When you first walk into Seamless you feel transported. With cool pink and blue neon, fantastic sound and
lighting, sexy dancers, and a wonderful staff, Seamless offered up a very comfortable and exciting networking
venue for Sin City Chamber Members.

“Hi everyone! I just wanted to thank you again; last night's mixer was awesome. You are all so welcoming and
nice; Susan and I had a great time and met some great contacts. We look forward to working with you all
more in the future.” Crystal Jackson ~ Desiree Alliance

The attendance was estimated at between 180 and 200 attendees. Special thanks to Sin City Chamber
Advisory Council Members Terry Bradley of Color Gamut and Erik Moll of Residential Mortgage Services for
their efforts in orchestrating this event. Additionally, we’d like to thank Danielle Watson of the Resort
