        HONORS RECIPIENTS OF HIS 19TH ANNUAL LAW
           ENFORCEMENT APRECIATION AWARDS

OFFICERS RISKED THEIR LIVES DODGING BULLETS, PREVENTED A
        SUICIDE AND RESCUED DROWNING SWIMMERS


WHO:                Kings County District Attorney Charles J. Hynes; 17 award recipients
                    from the NYPD, NYFD, Kings County District Attorney’s Office and
                    NYS Court System

WHAT:               District Attorney Hynes will honor 17 law enforcement officers at his 19th
                    annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Awards breakfast ceremony. The
                    award recipients were selected from a long list of nominations for their
                    heroism, bravery, dedication to the job and their accomplishments. The
                    honorees include officers who had been shot at, officers who have saved
                    drowning swimmers, and officers who work with the youth in our
                    community. The ceremony is being emceed by Juliet Papa from 1010
                    WINS.
