Counterfeit bills have turned up at several local businesses in the past couple of weeks. The counterfeit bills have been in
multiple denominations: 10-20-100. We encourage all local business owners to be on the look out and to train their front line
staff on how to recognize counterfeit currency. Purchasing a counterfeit detection pen at an office supply store would be a
good investment for any business that receives cash. Please hold onto any bill that you come across and call the Exeter
Police Department. 592-3103. This will help them with more leads. For more information, please contact your local bank.
