OVERVIEW
Education from the Latin word “educare” which means “to draw out” or “to
liberate” – to free from. Education is the process of teaching and learning. When you
teach, you facilitate and you should be creative. And learning is a relative by
permanent change as a product of maturation (Nature) and environment (Nurture).
A teacher is a facilitator, motivator, model, an Angel, a God’s instrument,
provider of knowledge and second parents “an loco parentis”.
II. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
This portfolio will serve as a guide to provide my practical learning experiences
inside a classroom set-up which are drawn out from the actual learning environment.
This portfolio will be the evidence when I reach FS2 to FS6. This is where I can express
my thoughts and feelings for the learners I observed in Mabalacat National
Highschool.
