Objective

 Identify department infrequently used skills through
  Quality Improvement review.
     To be included:
            Pleural Decompression
            Sodium Thiosulfate
            EMS Standard Dispatch Orders

 Identify training mechanism to address identified
  infrequent skills.
 Include infrequent used skills in department wide
  education plan for the next 12 month and report
  completion to EMS Agency
     Attach sign-in sheet with skills day agenda once training
      complete due by December 31, 2012

Goal

 Achieve better compliance with infrequently used
  skills.
 Achieve better comfort level for personnel to be able

 Educate personnel on best practice for infrequent
  used skill.

Implementation

 Use Hands- On training
 Simulation
 Scenario Based Training
 Peer/ Group review of actual events where
  infrequent used skill was utilized.
 Utilize evaluation tools such as the NREMT skills
  sheet to identify areas of improvement.
