The University System of Maryland (USM) offers full-time, daytime, undergraduate upper
division programs in Montgomery County at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG). These
programs allow students to complete their first two years of college coursework at
Montgomery College or another institution of higher education and then transfer to the
Universities at Shady Grove. USG provides students with all upper division coursework
needed to complete the final two years for a bachelor’s degree. Below are some of the
