                                      Enerji completes $1M placement

Emerging green energy utility, Enerji Limited (ASX: ERJ, “Enerji” or the “Company”) has completed the
book build for a share placement with commitments of approximately A$1,000,000, before costs, to
sophisticated and private investors (“Placement”) to further fund the installation process of Australia’s first
Opcon Powerbox at Horizon Power’s Carnarvon Power Station.

Under the Placement, Enerji will issue approximately 55,555,556 fully paid ordinary shares at a price of
$0.018 (“Placement Shares”). The Placement Shares have an attached one (1) for two (2) unlisted option
exercisable at $0.03 and expiring on 30 June 2015 (“Placement Options”). The Company will issue
approximately 27,777,778 Placement Options. The Placement is being made under section 708 of the
Corporations Act and is within the Company’s 15% capacity pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 7.1.

Enerji is also pleased to advise an upcoming one (1) for three (3) rights issue of unlisted options to all
shareholders (“Rights Issue”) to raise approximately $460,000, before costs – which will commence prior to
the end of August 2011. These unlisted options will have an issue price of $0.002, will be exercisable at
$0.03 and expire on 30 June 2015. Following completion of the Rights Issue, the Company will apply for
quotation of the options from the Rights Issue and the Placement Options on the ASX.

The Rights Issue will be underwritten by SA Capital Pty Ltd.

Enerji recently announced a clear timeline towards the installation of Australia’s first Opcon Powerbox at
Horizon Power’s Carnarvon Power Station during 2H2011 (ASX announcement 12 May 2011). The
Powerbox, which is designed and manufactured in Sweden by Opcon, transforms low-grade industrial waste
heat into electricity and therefore reduces companies’ fuel costs and carbon emissions.

Upon completion of this installation, Enerji (which has a ‘Build, Own, Operate’ business model) will generate
revenue through its Power Purchase Agreement with Horizon Power. This first Powerbox installation will also
provide a reference site in Australia and support Enerji’s wider commercialisation objectives.

About Enerji
Enerji Limited is an emerging Perth-based green power utility focussed on commercialising the Opcon
Powerbox in Australia.

The Opcon Powerbox cogeneration technology transforms waste heat into electricity and therefore creates
significant energy cost and CO2 emissions savings for its customers.

Enerji has exclusive sales and distribution rights for the Opcon Powerbox in Australia and options for
Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Sub-Saharan Africa.

The Opcon Powerbox, manufactured in Sweden by Opcon, represents a significant commercial opportunity
through application to industrial, mining and power generation operations.

Enerji plans to maximise this opportunity and generate shareholder returns through long-term energy off-take
agreements.
