Well you will have all heard about my exciting news by now
and I would like to thank those parents who have passed on
their congratulations. My partner Gary and I are very excited, if
somewhat nervous at the thought of becoming parents again.
Charlie is delighted and can’t wait to become a ‘Big Sis’. Al-
though it is still early days we’ve already started that process of
looking at names and predicting whether it will be a boy or a
girl!
The hunt for someone to care take the school whilst I am on maternity leave
is well under way and I’m confident that I’ve already found the right person.
I intend to stay working for as long as possible up to my due date which is
currently the 7th April and will not be wholly absent from school during mater-
nity leave afterwards either.
Living in the village and being able to work remotely will mean I shall still be
at the helm and driving school development supported officially by whoever
takes up the post.
Currently the plan is for them to be in school on a part-time basis for three
days a week in order to carry out the day-to-day business and be a point of
contact for parents and staff. Ideally we’d like them to start before I leave so
that staff, pupils and yourselves can get to know them and vice versa.
Once Governors, Julie Fryer and myself have finalised details we shall let you
know but rest assured I am not about to hand the school over to anyone less
than perfect who is able to continue the vision and further develop our aims.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! Ms Cad :)
