Boone Catcher to Play for F.I.T.                                                                 Boone Hight School senior, Marissa Edwards, will be signing to
                                                                                                 play softball at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne,
                                                                                                 Florida. She already has signed her National Letter of Intent and
                                                                                                 will be officially signing soon.

                                                                                                 Marissa is the starting catcher at Boone High School under Coach
                                                                                                 Robin Bradford. She has started every game since the 6th game
                                                                                                 her freshman year. Marissa calls all the games for the pitchers on
                                                                                                 what to throw. She has been playing softball since she was 9 years
                                                                                                 old and started playing at Conway Little League. While at Conway
                                                                                                 Little League, her teams that won Districts 3 times, Sectionals
                                                                                                 twice, and went to States twice. She also played travel softball for
