Flower Catholic
Church; buried at St Joseph Cem. Veteran of WW II getting a Silver Star and 2 purple
Hearts. Had
been employed at Singers factory. Survivors are his children, Mrs Judy Hums of
Mishawaka IN, and
Christopher Ciesielski of So Bend; his sisters, Mrs Alyce Vargo and Mrs Harriet Thomas
and a
brother, Leonard Ciesielski of Portage IN.

          B] 1877; d] 1957 buried at St Joseph Cem. Children by this first marraige: Mrs
Mary Lasecki of Detroit MI, Joseph HALL [N CHGED] of Detroit. Husband #2] Wasil
Dyczko WASIL DYCZKO - AKA WINCENT DYSCKO] - b] 28 Feb 1864 in Poland.
Came to So Bend from Gary IN in 1909; died 10 Apr 1939, age 75 of 221 S Kaley. Had
been ill for 7 weeks. Services at St Mary's Polish Natl Cath Ch, buried at St Joseph Cem.
Surviving children: Mrs Anna Boroz of Highland N C, Mrs Mae Rogacki, John Dyczko
of Mishawaka IN. One brother, Peter Dyczko.

MRS MARTHA CAENEPEEL - w/o Maurice Sr.
         B] 2 Apr 1909; died 29 Apr 1981 age 72 in Hazelcrest Illinois. In Mar 1930 as
Martha Szymanowski she married Maurice Caenepeel Sr who died in 1969. Survivors
are a daughter Mrs Patricia Ciszewski of Hazelcrest Ill and Maurice Jr of Mishawaka, 3
sisters: Mrs Julia Luzny, Mrs Helen Deka, Mrs Irene Mentag, and two brothers, Stanley F
and Rev George Szymankowski CSC.

GEORGE CAESAR
         B] 22 Aug 1913in Chicago, moving here in 1968 frin Birth Judson IN; d] 30 Mar
1996, age 82 of West 15th St, Mishawaka IN, saturday afternoon in his home. He was an
inspector ofor Bendix Corp, retiring in 1979. Memorial services at a later date; no
visitation. Cremation will taker place . Hahn funeral home in charge of arrangements. On
22 Jun 1940 in Chicago he married Anna Mroczek who survives with a daughter Mrs
Sandra A Orn of Nappanee IN; two sons; Daniel G of Mishawaka and George D of
Buffalo Grove Ill. Eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs Anna
Bernadini of North Judson, a brother Amando of North Judson. A member of St Bavo's
Catholic Ch in Mishawaka.

CALBACH HATTIE - MRS STANLEY GRABARZ STANLEY GRABARZ
- b] 25 Apr 1921; d] 10 Jun 1991. Was working on the roof when he fell off the latter.
Services at Highland Cemetery. Surviving is his wife Hattie, a daughter, Mrs
Kathleen Walczewski and his family, two brother, Joseph of So Bend, John Grabarz of
Glenwood IL, and 4 sisters, Mrs Genevieve Cencelewski, Mrs Eveline Skrzypiec, Mrs
Joan Kulczak and Mrs Theresa Banicki.

         Married 14 Dec 1992. RONALD C CIESIELSKI; b] 7 Dec 1974; d] 29 May
1994, age 19, shot and killed. Survivors are his wife Karen and two sons; Aaron A &
Christian J Ciesielski, his parents Ronald A Ciesielski & Gisele Whittling, two sisters,
Barbara and Jennfer, and three brothers, Steven, Robert Ciesielski and
Chet of Connersville IN

         Born 29 Sept 1922, d] 22 Sept 1979, age 56 of 56340 Willow, New Carlisle IN.
At 11:20 a.m. in St Joseph's Hospital after a brief illnesss. Services at St Adalbert's
Catholic Church, burial at St Joseph Cem. On 10 May 1947 as Helen Dudek she married
James W Calhoun Jr who survives, with three sons, Richard of Indianapolis, Thomas of
Carmel IN and Lawrence Calhoun of Mishawaka; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Sophie
Morris of So Bend, and a brother Thaddeus Dudek of So Bend.

MARY L CAMPARONE - MRS WALTER MAKOWSKI
         Born 15 May 1914 Logansport IN; d] 2 Dec 1994, age 80 of 429 S Gladstone at
11:10 p.m. at St Joseph Medical Center. Retired from the County Clerks office after 31
years. Services at Holy Family Catholic Church, burial at St Joseph Cem. On 17 Apr
1937 she married Walter who died 29 Oct 1987. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs Rose
Miller of Mishawaka, Mrs Emma Homburg of Florida and a brother
Anthony Camparone of Mishawaka.

MRS DONNA [BOROWSKI] CAMPLIN - w/o Tony Camplin
         SBd Tribune 20 Feb 1982: Mrs Camplin, age 34 of St Charles KY, a former
resident of So Bend, died today in Regional Medical Cnter, Madisonville KY, following
a brief illness. In 1968 in So Bd she married Tony Camplin, who survives with two
daughters, April and Priscilla; three sons, Michael, Curtis and Jason all at home; two
sisters, Mrs Jeanette Nicols of Brocton IL, and Helen Borowski of So Bend, three
brothers Zbigniews Borowski and George Borowski both of So Bend and Richard
Borowski of Mishawaka, and her mother, Mrs Magdalena Borowski of So Bend. Funeral
arrangements will be made in Noronville KY. The Bandy Funeral home in Nortonville is
in charge of arrangements.

VERONICA CAPLIN - NEE ZALAS- w/o John
         Born 29 Apr 1910; died 17 Dec 1978, age 68 of 1925 S Wabash of an unexpected
illness. Her husband John Caplin died in 1964. Serives at St Mary's Assumption Catholic
Church, burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Suviving are a daughter Verna A Caplin, a
sister Mrs Clara Gapinski and a brother, James Zalas.

ELEANOR R CARMAN - NEE RYBICKI
        B] 20 Feb 1906; d] 28 Mar 1996, age 90 of Ironwodd Health & Rehabilitation
Center, died early today in the nursing home. She retired in 1971 from Taylor Products,
Elkhart IN after 17 yrs of service. Services at Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral HOme,
burial in Southlawn Cemetery. Survived by a daughter, Mrs Florence Luefling of So Bd,
two grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

KATHERINE CARRIVEAU - NEE CHOLAJ
       Born 16 Oct 1925; died 29 Jun 1989 in Pasco Washington. Cremated, Bruce
Memorial Chapel. [Married 3 times.] #1] Stepehn Bihary; children - Christopher A,
Daniel P, Timothy A, Stephen R, Frank J, Bart A. Stepchildren: Ronald Budzinski, Mrs
Michelle Krych Steinback. On 25 Jul 1981 married Harry J Budzinski.

REBECCA JANE BYARLEY CARUTH -
         Born 31Mar 1936 Jasonville IN; lived here 1944 to 1954 coming from jasonville;
d] 24 May 1980 age 43 of DeKalb Ill. On 19 Jan 1954 hse married Matthew F Caruth III,
who suvives with a dau Isabelle Caruth of DeKalb and Matthe F IV; one sister, Me
Elizabeth [Betty] Ellis, her mother, Mrs. Frances Grontkowski and two stepsisters, Mrs
Patricia Hite of Niles MI and Mrs Kathleen Lindenburg of Mishawaka.

       Died 22 Aug 1987. On 27 Apr 1929 in Syracuse In. She married JOHN
PASKEWICZ Born 2 Sept 1910; d] 23 Aug 1994 age 83 of Lincoln Way West at 6 a.m.
Retired from Bendix 30 Sept 1975. Former owner of Johnny's Sales, Mishawaka Ave &
Collectors Place in Mishawaka. Services at Ridgedale Presbyterian Church, burial at
Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola IN. Surviving children: Mrs Ruth Alby, Mrs
Jean Buswell of Indianapolish In, Mrs Pratricia Inks of Edwardsburg MI, Mrs Joanne
Rutzen of Lapeer Mich, John Pask Jr [N CHG]; 13 grandchildren and 9 great
grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs Martha Borton died 18 Dec 1992.

         Born 4 Aug 1924; d] 21 Mar 1982 Veterans Hospital, Washington DC. Lived in
Falls City Virginia. Survivors are her husband, Edwin Case Sr, a daughter Mrs Gloria
Jean Barker, and a son C Edwin Case Jr; three sisters, Mrs Helen Kemble, Mrs Shirley
McMahon and Mrs Lorraine Cudney.

         Born 10 Oct 1938 LaPorte IN; d] 16 Aug 1994, age 55, of 32670 Chicago Trail, at
10:25 p.m. Mrs Cavin was a farmer and worked in the maintenance detp at Whirlpool
Corp. Services at St Stanislaus Kostka Cath Church, burial at Rolling Prarie Cem. On 8
Apr 1961 in Otis IN he married Agnes I Gorski who survives with a daughter, Deborah L
Cavin of LaPOrte, David L of Laporte and Dale L Cavin; one sister, Mrs Carolyn
Szymkowski of LaPorte and a brother Darrel Cavin of Michigan City IN.

BRONISLAWA [BLANCHE] CEBRAT - NEE WALINSKI - w/o John W
       Born 14 Jun 1912 DuBois PA; d] 27 Jun 1994, age 82 of Poppy Road at 7:30 a.m.
in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Retired from Kuberski's Market and family store.
Services at St Mary's Polish National Catholic Church, burial at St Joseph Cem. On 2
Sept 1933 she married John, who survives with two daughters Mrs Kathy Jenczewski
and Mrs. Janice Lampos; 4 grandchildren and 7 grt grand-children.

JOSEPH R CEBRAT
         Born 11 Oct 1908; lived here most of life; d] 13 Apr 1980 age 71 of Coopers City
Fla; formerly of Sbd; died at 5:25 a.m. Sunday in Pembroke Pine Florida General Hosp
after a long illness. He retired from Bendix Corp where he worked as an experimental
engineer for sevral years. He retired to Florida in 1971. Services at St Joseph Polish Natl
Ch, Ft Lauderdale; burial in Westlawn Memorial Gardens, Ft Lauderdale. His wife, Ann
survives with a son Robert of Pembroke Pine Fla, 4 grandchildren, a stepsister Mrs
Stephanie Bogacz and a brother Frank Bogacz both of So Bend.

STEPHANIA CEBRAT - MRS WAYNE WEST - NEE BOGACZ
         [Adolpted dau. of John Cebrat Sr & Helen Pyclik] nee Bogacz; b] 2 Jan 1924
LaPorte IN, lived in SBd most of her life; d] 10 Feb 1982, age 58 of 810 S Mead. She
died at 3:15 a.m. in Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was a former
employee at Bendix Corp. No visitation. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. On
5 Aug 1961 in Michigan she married Wayne West who survives, along with a son,
Douglas Olmstead of San Diego Ca.

BURTON L CEBULSKI SR
         Born 12 Sept 1907 Buffalo NY; died 29 Sept 1981, age 74 of 1001 Mayflower
Rd, Lot 85, died at 11:10 p.m. in Momorial Hospital. He was co-owner of Burton's
laundromat. He had lived here for 52 years. No Visitation. Veteran of WW II. Memorial
contributions may be made to the James Nufer [Cebulskis' grandson] Cancer Research
Fund; 2/o Dr Einhorn, Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis IN.
On 5 Jun 1929 he married Lottie Wieczorek who died 1 May 1965. He then married
Geraldine Webster, who survives with a duaghter, Mrs Louise Nufer of So Bend, a son,
Burton J Jr of Ft Myers Fla, a stepdaughter, Mrs Chester Buse of SBd, 7 grandchildren, 5
grt grandchildren; 2 step grt grandchildren and a brother, Louis Cebulski of Buffalo NY.

FELIX CYBULSKI [AKA CEBULSKI]
         Born 13 May 1892 Poland; arried USA 42 years ago. Obit in Goniec Polski 2 Jul
1956. He lived 429 N Walnut and died at 2:15 p.m. having been ill for six months.
Former employee at Olivers Corp. Services at St Hedwig Catholic Church, burial at St
Joseph Cem.. Survivors are a sister, Mrs Ludwika Kulinski of POland, and two brothers,
John and Theodore Cybulski of SBd.

STANLEY CYBULSKI [AKA CEBULSKI]
         Born 11 Jul 1880 Poland; came to So Bend 46 years ago; d] Aug 1953 of 115 S
Walnut at 9:30 p.m. wed. at his home. Had been ill for 3 years. Services at St Hedwig
Catholic Chuch, burial at St Joseph
Cem. His wife Stella died 13 May 1948. He is survived by 3 sons: William P, Victor &
Zygmund.

THEODORE W CEBULSKI
         Born 18 Sept 1926 in So Bend; d] 4 Oct 1985, age 59 of 2801 Tomahawk TRail.
Died at 4:30 p.m. Friday in St Joseph's Medical Center. He was a machinist for White
Farm Equipment for 14 yrs. Veteran of WW II. On 5 Oct 1957 he married Mary Dale
Weddle who survives with three daughters, Mrs Mary Ellen Jensen, Joany and Catherine,
both at home, a son, Gregory Dale of Tinton Falls NJ; three grand-
children and three sisters, Mrs Gertrude marko of Mishawaka, Mrs Genevive Stephens
and Loretta Mitts both of So Bend. A twin brother, Leonard, died on 21 Dec 1`984.

ZYGMUNT CEBULSKI [AKA SIGMONT [JACK] CYBULSKI]
         Born 28 Jan 1906; d] 4 Nov 1979, age 73 of 813 S Camden, died at 5 p.m. at
Carlyle Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. He retired from Torrington after 38 years.
Services at St Stanislaus Cath Church, burial at Fairview Cem. On 10 Mar 1951 he
married Janet Lewark who survives.

Al M CEGIELSKI
         Born 12 May 1909; d] 3 Aug 1982, age 73 of 1051 N Elliott at 6:10 in the
Cardinal Nursing Home. It was a long illness. Former employee at Ace Harware and St
Joseph Co Highway Dept. On 24 Jun 1931 married Clementine Kitkowski wo survives.
Services at St John the Baptist Cath Ch, burial in St Jos Cem.

ISABELLE M CEGIELSKI - MRS EDWARD EDSTROM
         Born 28 Mar 1920; d] 16 May 1983, of 3812 Surry Lane. On 18 Feb 1939
married Edward who survives, with a brother, Stanley Cegielski of Chicago IL, a
daughter, Mrs Sharon Witt and two sons, Kenneth and Michael Cegielski.

MATTHEW J CEGIELSKI
        Born 7 Apr 1927; died 16 Mar 1995, age 67 of Rock Maple Court. Died at 5:53
a.m. in St Joseph's Medical Center. He retired from So Bend Fire Dept after 20 yrs
service & was employed by Logan Industries for 5 yrs as a supervisor. Services at
Corpus Christi Cath Church & was a veteran of WW II.On 1 May 1948 married Biola R
"Peg" Gerbasich. A Daughter, Karen M Cegielski of Mishawaka, two sons Gregory P of
Portage Mich and Terry P of Granger, 4 grandchildren.

VIOLA [PEG] CEGIELSKI - NEE GERBASICH - w/o Matthew
         Born 18 Jun 1925 in So Bend, died 29 Dec 1980, age 55 of 1613 Magnolia; at
10:45 a.m. in St
Joseph's Hospital after a lengthy illness. Services at Our Lady of Hungary Catholic
Church, burial at Highland Cem. Surviving are her husband Matthew, a daughter Karen
at home, two sons, Gregory Paul of Kalamazoo and Terry Paul of West Lafayette; a
sister, Miss Mary Jane Gerbasich; two brothers, Frank and Victor Gerbasich, and her
mother, Mrs Mary Gerbasich.

MATTHEW C CEGIELSKI
         Born 1 Oct 1902; d] 15 Feb 1955 at 5:30 a.m. in his home, 4715 W Edison. His
physician said he suffered a heart attack. Cegielski was sheriff in 1945 & 1946. His 1st
political job was as a deputy sheriff in 1937 and 1938. He was also a clerk in the shipping
room of Singers Mfg Co. Services at Holy Family Catholic Church, burial in St Joseph
Cem. On 8 Jun 1926 in St Adalbert's Cath Church he married Maryann J Robakowski
who survives, with a son Matthe J, a brother Al, two sisters, Mrs Clara Maculski and Mrs
Frances Drada all of So Bend & another sister, Mrs Stella Bazyk of Lakeville, & a
grandson.

ANTHONY J CELICHOWSKI
         Born 1 Nov 1906 Lakeville IN; d] 26 Dec 1980 Largo Fla, age 74, formerly of
SBd. Formerly emmployed at Singers Mfg Co, and was a retired laboratory technition at
Germ-Free Life Research in Tampa Fla. Lived in SBd until 1959 when he moved to
Pinellis Park, near St Petersburg Fla. He recently moved to Largo Fla. Serives at Sacred
Heart Cath Ch, St Petersburg, burial in Calvary Cem in St Petersburg. His wife, Sophie
preceded him in death. Survivors are a son, Sylvester A of Largo, 6 grandchildren,
a great grandchild, two sisters, Mrs Blanche Robakowski and Mrs Lottie Strozewski, a
brother Edward,
all of South Bend.
