No. HRB/Fbd/PMEGP

To,

The Deputy Commissioner cum Chairman PMEGP,

Faridabad / Palwal / Gurgaon / Mewat / Rewari and Narnaul.

Subject: PMEGP scheme benefits for animal abusers kalandhar, sapera, madaris, tongawala and kasai.

Sir,

It is humbly submitted that undersigned introduced a scheme for rehabilitation of kalanders before
the then Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Smt. Maneka Gandhi and this scheme
was implemented by many NGO’s, now all performing bears have been rescued but dancing monkeys
are yet to be looked in to along with the snake charmers and kasai.

As per KVIC instructions PMEGP scheme benefits be given to each and every needy sector of the
society, few minority community people are involved in cow slaughtering, which is banned in Haryana
and these people can be motivated through PMEGP scheme to replace their profession, like wise
snake charmers and madari, where as the UN affiliated OIPA www.oipa.org chapter in India and PFA
Haryana www.pfaharyana.in are ready to rescue and rehabilitate captive animals.

The Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board arranging awareness camps to spread out the scheme
amongst kalander, sapera and kasai communities area’s along with the active participation of the
panchyati raaj Institutions, where as Shri Desh Raj Gautam, Member (North Zone) of KVIC principally
agreed about active participation of down trodden communities and panchyati raaj Institutions during
his visit to the PFA Haryana animal shelter.

Hence you are humbly requested to please direct SDM’s / DDPO’s / Tehsildars / BDO’s to spread out
the PMEGP scheme at grass root level and DIPRO may kindly be directed for further publicity of the
scheme.

Sincerely yours,

Naresh Kadyan,

District Khadi and Village Industries Officer
