Two New Eseries Devices Optimized for Efficiency Nokia unveiled the first two Eseries devices to feature the company’s new email user interface: the Nokia E75 and the Nokia E55. Nokia Messaging, when added to a company’s corporate email clients, gives people the most efficient solution for accessing work and personal email on the go. With the Nokia E75 and the Nokia E55, users will no longer have to boot up a PC to get the full desktop email experience. The enhanced email UI includes folder and HTML email support, expandable views and sorting capabilities, as well as the most commonly used email functions that increase productivity and enhances efficiency. With direct access to Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes, companies can potentially save up to one-third of their operating costs, as there is no need for additional middleware or email servers. Find out more about the Nokia E75 and the Nokia E55 Nokia Brings Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync to 100 Million Mobile Devices More than 45 Nokia S60 3rd Edition devices now feature the latest version on Mail for Exchange- the largest range offered by any manufacturer. This enables about 100 million mobile phone users to connect to their email accounts on the Exchange server. Nokia’s new offering will help companies contain costs by utilizing their existing infrastructure. IBM Extends IBM Lotus Notes Email Access to 100 Million Mobile Phones Over 100 million Nokia users can now connect to their IBM Lotus Domino corporate email accounts, calendar and address books, to-do data and journal via the IBM-made client software known as Lotus Notes Traveler. Thanks to the collaboration between IBM and Nokia, Lotus Domino email users can now be mobilized with Nokia S60 3rd edition devices without needing to purchase additional clients, servers or middleware.
