Maintenance Technician Certificate Scholarship

The HFI is sponsoring six (6) scholarships for Helicopter Maintenance Technicians,Scholarships of up
to $2,500 each may be awarded.

Note : Scholarship funds will only be applied to tuition fees. Scholarship winners are responsible their
own transportation and additional expenses (books, food, equipment, lodging). Any unused portion of the
scholarship money be sent directly back to the HFI.

Terms and Conditions

     Provide documents from attending school that the student has successfully completed the required
     course offered by FAA part 147 AMT program support.
     Students are required to provide a copy of the FAA certificate as a plane (A), machinery (P), or a &
     p mechanic, or international equivalent.
     If the school is not compensated by the student, HFI will make a payment to the student body, up to
     a maximum of scholarships awarded.
     In the event that the student before the bill by the school and has been actually paid in advance, HFI
     will reimburse the student directly, up to a maximum of scholarships awarded.
     Scholarship Applications must be typed or legibly hand.
     All questions must be answered fully. The complete package the application will be rejected.

Proof of registration

Proof of registration of the FAA certified part 147 or the international equivalent of AMT training
program;

     A clear copy of any and all FAA or the international equivalent certificate;

Resume now;
Currently, three letters of recommendation from individuals such as employers, instructors, or anyone
else in the industry can prove your background, training, and experience related to the aviation industry;
Two references (eg, employers, professional organizations or community);
A summary of 300 words or more explaining why you want to be a helicopter maintenance technicians;
International applicants must also provide proof of foreign citizenship.

Winners will be notified by phone and e-mail, and they (or their representatives) will be encouraged to

                                   attend the International Association of helicopter HELI-EXPO 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Free one-year
                                   HAI membership and complimentary full registration to HELI-EXPO 2013, for scholarship winners and
                                   guests, including dinner for two HAI Salute to excellence awards Banquet will be awarded the
                                   scholarship each helicopter belongs to the International Association. Present at HELI EXPO ® affords
                                   winners the chance to attend the Mentoring Panel maintenance technicians and industry outreach to the
                                   student panel, and a chance to meet and talk to the helicopter professionals from around the world.

                                   The winner will be required to provide a contact name and phone number for the school, and the address
                                   to send a letter of intent confirming the funds can be sent over an award certificate. Winners will be
                                   required tocomplete training and receive their certificate within 19 months of the date of the notice, and
                                   comply with all applicable scholarships. Applications must bear original signatures and received no later
                                   than 30 November 2013.

                                   HFI's maintenance technician certificate scholarships will only be awarded to candidates pursuing the
                                   plane (A), machinery (P) or airframe and engine (A & P) license or an international equivalent.
                                   Scholarship funded by HFI and supporting organizations, providing up to $ 2,500 to help candidates
                                   pursue A, P, or A & P, or the international equivalent aircraft maintenance technician certification. The
                                   main determinant will be evidence of the applicant's interest and determination to work in the helicopter
                                   industry.

                                   Scholarship money will be paid upon award of FAA maintenance technician Act, a written notice their
