							Using Google Search Features – Part 2
Most of us have used Google's search engine at one time or other but there are many lesser
known features of Search that are extremely useful. Over the next few weeks we'll highlight
them. Today we'll feature:

             Unit conversion
             Currency conversion
             Time of cities around the world

UNIT CONVERSION
If you’re working on a project and are given a measurement in mm and need to know what
it is in inches, or some other unit conversion, you can do so right in the Google Searc h box.
To see what 52mm is in inches, simply type “52mm in inches.”
You will get the following result:




CURRENCY CONVERSION
If you are ordering something from a web site in Europe and you need to know how much
an item that costs 50 euros will be in American dollars, type “50 euros in US dollars.” You
will get the following result:

TIME
If you do business with clients in other countries or have family overseas, you must
continually know the current time in their location. To see what the current time is in
Ireland, type “time Ireland.” You will get a result similar to this:




To find the current time of a city in the US, type “time Phoenix AZ.”
