Mrs. Johnson was again upset seeing the huge figures on the electricity bill
this month. She tried her level best to reduce the electricity consumption.
She never forgets to switch off the lights or
automatic geysers and A.C’s. She makes it
point to use the best power saving tubes and
other accessories available in the market.
But she still can’t understand why the figures
on her monthly bill not reducing.

This is not the case only with Mrs. Johnson.
All over the world the daily consumption of
electricity is increasing and we all come to
realize this only when we face our electricity
bills every month. So are we doing anything
to stop the over burden or instead we are
becoming a part of this over burden. There
are countries where some native village folks
still do not even know what electricity is.
Even if their place has a grid to supply power. The power cut and distribution
is so uneven that they hardly get current in one single day.

Well so now it is high time for us to think some alternate source of power
besides electricity. Not only for reducing bills but also think about those
people who also needs electricity. This could only happen when there is a
balance of energy or power distribution and this could happen when we start
using natural sources of energy as solar power or wind power to its full
strength.
Among the many systems in demand solar heating systems are seeing their
emergence. Let’s have a look on some major types in this piece of
information:

 The Split Panel Solar Hot Water Collector System: comes n two types
the flat panel or evacuated tube type. It works with a solar collector on
roof and Solar Water Storage Tank at the ground. A solar controller
and Solar Circulator Pump helps in circulating hot water to the tank
and recirculation the excess hot water back to the collector for cooling.
Easy to install and repair this system is quite effective. But if the
distance between collector and tank is too much then considerable
    amount of energy loses.

 Roof mounted system: the passive system working on thermosyphon
principle. This system is usually heavy to install and expensive.

 Heat pumps: Easy to install and works similar to reverse cycle air
conditioner. But this can be noisy and requires shady place to install.
Requires electric supply for 24hrs per day and so not very much an
    energy saving option.

With all the above systems you can opt for the best and conserve energy
  in real way.
