                         programs. (Special Services for Disadvantaged Students, Upward

   1976 - 1977:          Vice President for Instruction, Pike's Peak Community College in
                         Colorado Springs, Colorado, responsible for academic, technical,
                         vocational, military, non-traditional, and continuing educational
                         instructional programs, as well as the Learning Resources Center.

   1973 - 1976:          Dean of Instructional Development, El Paso Community College in
                         El Paso, Texas. Responsible for academic programs, some technical
                         vocational programs, developmental studies, Library/Learning
                         Resources Center, faculty/staff development, Audio-Visual Center,
                         instructional innovation, resource development, research and
                         curriculum development. Also, coordinated development of college
                         catalog and specially funded programs.

          Exam National Norms.
       Post Doctoral Intern with American Association of Communication and Junior Colleges
          Federal Specialist Program. Learned about the HEW Agencies (particularly the U.S.
          Office of Education), the Department of Labor, and the Congressional Legislative
          process as well as the operations of other government agencies, foundations, and
          associations, which affect educational programs.
       Testified before the U.S. Senate Sub-Committee Hearing conducted in Los Angeles,
          California on the role of community and junior colleges in Manpower training.
       Written and supervised the writing of over 20 proposals to federal, private and foundation
          organizations which have generated over $10 million in funds.
