Thanks for showing interest in the Ulysses Club, in particular the Central Victoria Branch

Our meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month, starting at 7.30 pm. Meetings are
now held at the Centre State Rodders’ Clubrooms, Bendigo Airport, off Victa rd, Bendigo.
This is a fully licensed venue but no meals are available. Members can however bring food for
supper afterwards. Meetings are pretty informal and usually last no more than an hour, so there
is plenty of opportunity to meet everyone afterwards.

CVUB has a monthly newsletter called “The Bushwacker”, and for $15 per year you can stay in
the know on who is doing what and where. Everyone in Ulysses joins the National Club, and
then participates in local Branches, which do not charge separate membership fees. It’s all
about riding and socializing with people of the same generation, who share a common interest
in motorcycling. A 3-year membership at $90, plus an initial joining fee of $30, including receipt
of a quarterly glossy magazine, has got to be the bargain of the century! Most motorcycle
retailers give discounts to Ulysses members on parts and accessories, as well as several
insurance companies who have discounts for Ulysses members. It’s best to identify yourself as
a member, and ask if a discount is available.

CVUB conducts a ride day on the second Sunday of each month, usually leaving the Rotary
Park car park, Kangaroo Flat, (opposite APCO petrol station), at 10 am, with destinations all
round the place. Occasionally we run a weekend ride, and our Branch has its fair share of rally
nuts, so a bit of company on any of the rallies that are around is usually on the cards. A number
of members always attend the National AGM, held in a different location in Australia each
year. So if your idea of a bike ride is longer than a lap around the block, we have some
company for you. Our Branch also runs a rally at the Tarnagulla Historical Reserve first
weekend in October, which is a huge blast.

We also meet for coffee and a chin-wag Saturday mornings at the Huntly Café, Midland Hwy,
Huntly, Crowds rock up anytime from 10am and leave about noon, and now also on Thursdays
after lunch at Blasters Café, Hattam St, Golden Square. So if you don’t mind a bit of bulls..t, I
highly recommend it. Any further enquiries about the Branch or activities can be made
through Reg Loe. You can also access the National Ulysses web site at
<> or the CVUB web site at <www.>.
