Paint and Oil Pastel booked family workshop
Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery
3rd June, 11am - 4pm
Work with artist and facilitator Anne Brierely to create a family masterpiece
using paint and oil pastels! Learn skills and techniques alongside your family
in this special day long workshop, and work together to create a piece of art
on canvas to take home with you. Participants will be using oil pastels and
acrylic paints, as well as projection and freehand drawing, to create a collage
of images from different sources.

Participants should bring with them some old clothing, as acrylic paint will not
wash out - we will also have some aprons available. If you would like to bring
any images from home to use, please feel free to do so.
No experience necessary!

Learning Zone art classroom, Tickets are £5 per participant, children and

Meet Wulfgar,the 7th century warlord!

Wulfgar is a minor 7th century warlord leading a small Mercian warband. His
equipment is inspired by the burial at Wollaston, Northampton. He will be
lurking around the Hoard Gallery during the afternoon so have a chat to him
