 telepathic message
The basic definition of telepathy is feeling another's reactions or thoughts without using what is
categorical called the five senses. Telepathy is often referred to as the sixth sense. This allows us
to sense things without being face to face with someone.

Because of the nature of telepathy, it is viewed as communication that is not on our plane.

It is highly known amongst those involved in animal husbandry, that many species have some
form of telepathic behavior. Whether it be insects that are communal to the dolphins who use a
more obvious form of telepathy called sonar, the fact is that telepathy is real for many critters.

There are also those in the scientific community that believe primitive tribes used powers of
telepathy and still have the ability to communicate in this fashion today.

Even though telepathy is not a widely spoken about, it is not as uncommon as you might think.
This used to be a regular occurrence in human behavior. Just as much as what your native tongue
or what you look like depends on where and who you are born to, telepathy used to be the same.
It is thought that those who do not naturally feel the telepathy, can be trained to remember it again.
That most just have a learning problem as someone with dyslexia has a problem with letters and

But instead, our civilization has mostly lost the telepathic powers that are just as much part of the
natural human brain and capabilities as speech, response to music, and the five senses.

Some people consider this another sense altogether. That is considered to be the sixth sense to
many. It also comes in many other names depending on the era and region. It is now basically
considered an instinct.

Have you ever had a gut feeling come over you? Did it end up happening? Telepathy works in
many different forms, and often times we miss it for a simple rush or just negative thinking. The
problem is when it happens you find yourself wondering why you didn't pay attention to your
thoughts. Then again, there are positive times like a friend you haven't heard from in a long time
calls you within the same week you thought about them. It's crazy to think about, but things like
this happen all the time, yet we overlook them as mere coincidences, even though a mother/child
power is accepted.

Why did society lose their abilities of telepathy for the most part?

The advent of modern day religions has effectively demonized telepathic powers to the point that
the only association they have is with demonic control or with a tool of Satan. There are many new
age religions that are becoming more in tune with telepathy however.

Some religions have gone so far as to say that telepathy is a tool of the devil, we often fear what
we do not understand and for some, reading minds or using telepathy can be quite frightening.
The idea that some one can get inside your head and speak to you is fearful indeed.

Why, you may ask yourself, are the major religions so vehemently against the idea of telepathy?

There are a few religions that do follow the ancient paths and within these religions, telepathy is
not feared. In fact in some of the older religions, it is embraced and has become a tool for those
religions. There are no set leaders to tell the congregation that telepathy is a tool of the devil,
instead they congregation themselves choose what they will practice.

Then of course if it's not religious talk, you can always turn to the scientific thoughts.

The doubting Thomas' of today need to see proof and where there is none, they believe that it
does not actually exist. It cannot me measured, touched or tasted so how can it possibly be?
Without that, most people will not take it serious. The contradiction of course is that they have
'faith' in their religion yet because their religion tells them that this is only a thing of evil, they now
believe that it doesn't exist. It just doesn't make any sense.

Scientists do not however have a problem in believing that intuition is a true emotion. Intuition is
not far from telepathy so it is wondered why the disparity can happen when it comes to telepathy.

Fear can be a reason why scientists do not delve too deeply into the study of telepathy, as stated
before, there is a certain fear to thinking someone can read your mind. Most would rather let the
subject drop and study areas that they feel have more value to themselves or to human kind.

As to why humanity began losing touch with telepathy at all, perhaps it's as simple as the Tower of
Babylon story--perhaps the languages that were confused by God or the gods were not just those
of speech but also the language of telepathy.
