Certified Animal Cruelty Investigator Course

Career Development Institute is offering the Animal Cruelty Investigators Course
approved by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services and the New
Jersey Police Training Commission. This course meets the requirements of N.J.A.C.
8:23A-2.6. Successful completion of this course is required for appointment as an
Animal Cruelty Investigator by a New Jersey Municipality. Enrollment is open to any
person 18 years of age or older. While enrollment is limited we hope to accommodate
all applicants.

The seven-day course will be held at the Morris County Public Safety Training
Academy, 500 West Hanover Avenue, Parsippany, N.J. Classes will be held on
seven days – May 9-13 and May 16-17. Classes will be held from 9:00 am to
5:00 pm each day. The dress code for this class is business casual. Completion
of the course requires attendance at all classes. Tuition for this seven-day
program is $699, which includes all materials.
