CYCLE SNACK MENUS
Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday
Week 1 ½ apple sliced 6 baby ½ c pineapple granola bar 4 vanilla
1 string carrots w/ tidbits milk wafers w/
cheese/or ranch 4 sm graham ½ cup
slice cheese dressing crackers applesauce
Week 2 ½ banana low fat yogurt 4 vanilla cheese & fruit juice bar
4 sm graham wafers cracker snack 5 animal
crackers ½ c juice pack crackers
Week 3 ½ cup cereal ½ cup ½ cup mixed ½ cup pears ice cream
milk peaches fruit 1 string cup
8 pretzels 5 animal cheese/or
crackers sliced cheese
The weekly menu is flexible. For example, Thursday snack choice can be used on
Monday and Monday snack choice can be used on Thursday as necessary. Do not
repeat a snack more than twice a week.
If a substitution must be made, substitute with like kind. Examples: Vitamin C
source for Vitamin C or Vitamin A for Vitamin A.
Low Fat Milk choice should be white.
If you have morning snack time choose a snack not offered at breakfast/lunch.
Water is suggested as a beverage for all snacks even when other beverages are
offered to encourage children to drink water.
