- Network & Security Planning Senior Engineer since May 2010 until now in Etisalat Misr with the
responsibility of the following tasks:


     Planning , Design, and implementing , all aspects of IT Data Network and IT Security Systems
       in all Etisalat Offices, Data Centers, Partner call-center and Etisalat Stores.

     Performing long-term strategic planning in order to ensure that network capabilities meet
       current and future business requirements

     Participate in evaluation and promotion of new Network and IT Security solution and
       integration with operational systems.

     Responsible on enhancing existed Network and Security systems designs to improve
       performance and reliability for all IT infrastructures.

     Cooperate in troubleshoot and debug Network or Security in case of major failures.
     Responsible on capacity planning for Network links and IT Security systems based on
       company business growth.

     Responsible for establishing a re-design procedure to all systems on hand in case of disasters.

     Responsible for IT Network & Security Hardware Inventory

     Managing Purchasing Request (RFP & RFQ) for IT Network & Security projects.

     Perform acceptance test ensuring project readiness.

      Providing 3rd line of support and highest escalation point for all the faults for Orange's
       internal network worldwide.

      Single point of contact for all Internal Network and Partners users, ensuring 24 X 7
       availability for their respective network services.


      Respond to proactive alarms generated for any of the network elements.

      Performing weekly checks on the level of security present on different Internal Network
       devices and automatically correcting them In coordination with ESM [Equant Security
       Management]

      SPOC for any MSC design or re-design enquiries and periodically checking on the existing
       architecture [STP and trunking] and match it to the original design requirements

      Fault management of WAN and LAN connectivity related faults and escalating to the
       Engineering team when necessary.

      Assist in validating the new installations and network upgrade projects carried out by the
       Engineering team and the GNVPC team.
-Enterprise Network Management Engineer in Customer Support & Operations department in Orange
Business Services in Cairo HQ since July 2006 to May 2008 with the responsibility of the following
tasks.

      Managing all the Customers CEs' and connections.

      Handling all the medium-complex problems for Orange Business Services Customers.

      Working as VPN Owner under the Change Management chain for one of Orange Business
       Services customers providing all the changes requests for their network.

      Monitoring and maintaining the performance for customers' networks.
