No refunds issued after 14 days of submitting registration form. Members expelled will not be issued refunds.
WARNING: CAUTIONARY NOTICE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
The Registration Applicant(s) (Applicant) acknowledges that though the Markham Badminton Club (MBC) has taken reasonable measures to ensure a safe environment,
the Applicant bears the responsibility to assess and assume the risk of participating in MBC badminton. Badminton is a sport that may involve voluntary and involuntary
competition exposing participants to risk of serious injury (injury) and loss or damage direct or indirect, economic, personal or consequential (damage). Participation in
MBC may include the risk of contact by participants with allergens, pathogens, or other substances harmful to the participant due to pre-existing medical conditions
including allergies, asthma and epilepsy, avoidance of which the treatment of which is solely the responsibility of the Applicant.
The Applicant acknowledges that the MBC, or its , Directors, Coaches, and Volunteers (MBC Staff) take no responsibility for injury or damage, risk of which is assumed
solely by the Applicant however caused, whether by tortious, deliberate or negligent conduct of the participant, spectators, bystanders, or MBC Staff.
The Applicant further saves harmless and indemnifies MBC Staff from any claim for compensation for damage, including claims or suits arising from injury or damage
suffered by the participant or other persons however caused. The Applicant agrees to review and abide by the rules of the MBC.
Completion of this form constitutes the undersigned’s consent and acknowledgement that the MBC must collect such personal information as is required to complete
this registration form for the following purposes:
To register players for administrative and insurance purposes.
To constitute and maintain a list of club members, for contact by the MBC from time to time for the distribution of information by telephone, e-mail and mail
including registration forms and club information.

Markham Badminton Club (MBC) Rules
Please read and observe the following rules as a minimum to ensure your enjoyment and safety:
Club members and guests must check in on each visit to the facility.
Club members are permitted to bring guests who shall pay a guest fee at an amount determined by MBC. The Club Member is responsible that
the guest fee is paid at each visit.
The MBC reserves the right to expel any member and limit the number of guests that are permitted to use the facilities at any given session.
The MBC reserves the right to change, amend or modify rules at any time without prior notice to the members.
MBC is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
It is the responsibility of the parent(s) or the accompanying guardian to look after and control the children in their charge at all times.
Non members (including children) are not permitted to be on the courts at any time.
Proper non-marking athletic footwear must be worn on the court areas at all times. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. No player wearing street shoes
or wet court shoes will be permitted to enter the court areas. Players must change into their court shoes prior to entering the court areas.
No food and drinks are permitted on the court areas.
All members and guests will exercise and follow proper court etiquette at all times. Members and guests will conduct themselves in a manner
that will not disturb other players, their matches, safety and enjoyment of the facilities.
Members and guests shall restrain themselves from using profanities. Profanity, denigratory or offensive slogans on any attire and/or
behaviour as such are deemed to be unacceptable.
When approached by MBC staff member regarding breaches of these rules or common sense, members and guests shall comply immediately.
