									 Something that Lasts
                      
{1 Corinthians 9:25} Everyone who competes
in the games goes into strict training. They
do it to get a crown that will not last; but we
do it to get a crown that will last forever.
            Trusting God
                 
 (Proverbs 3:5-6) Trust in the LORD with all your
heart and lean not on your own understanding; {6} in
all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make
  your paths straight.
 (Proverbs 16:20) …blessed is he who trusts in the
  LORD.
 (Proverbs 28:25) ...he who trusts in the LORD will
  prosper.
 (Proverbs 29:25) Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
Which Question are you asking?
                
 How can I take control of this
 situation?
 Should I try to control this
 situation – or trust God?
Your Reputation
 Keep to a path far from
 Immorality (Proverbs 5:8-14)
her (the adulteress), do not go near the door of her
house… {11} At the end of your life you will groan,
when your flesh and body are spent. {12} You will
say… {14} I have come to the brink of utter ruin in the
  midst of the whole assembly.“
 Slander (Proverbs 25:9-10) …do not betray another
man's confidence, {10} or he who hears it may shame
you and you will never lose your bad reputation.
 Good Reputation (Proverbs 26:2) Like a fluttering
sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse
  does not come to rest.
 Old and Young is good
          
(1 John 2:14) I write to you, fathers, because
you have known him who is from the
beginning. I write to you, young men,
because you are strong, and the word of God
lives in you, and you have overcome the evil
 one.
The Making
of a Godly Legacy
                              
 STAGE 1 - FAITHFUL PARENTING (Proverbs 22:6) Train a child
in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from
  it.
 STAGE 2 – LEARNING RESPECT (Proverbs 30:11) "There are
  those who curse their fathers and do not bless their mothers;
 STAGE 3 – MAKING GODLY CHOICES (Proverbs 23:19) Listen,
my son, and be wise, and keep your heart on the right path.
 STAGE 4 – HUMILITY TO KEEP LEARNING (Proverbs 23:22-24)
Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your
mother when she is old. {23} Buy the truth and do not sell it; get
wisdom, discipline and understanding. {24} The father of a
righteous man has great joy; he who has a wise son delights in
  him.
 Legacy:
 What to leave behind
                          stability (Proverbs 12:7)
 Our Righteousness brings family
Wicked men are overthrown and are no more, but the
house of the righteous stands firm.

 who hates bribes will live.
 Righteous living brings blessing to your children
 (Proverbs 20:7) The righteous man leads a blameless life;
blessed are his children after him.
